We’ve had so many issues with this app. It always gives us an error. It either says Your Total Control System was not Found or Error Connecting to Base Station. The only option (try again) does absolutely nothing to fix it. I always have to pay my provider to come out to fix the issue. In the meantime, I can’t use my tv. He was just here about two weeks ago and the problem is already back. What a hassle.

The hi screen just freezes out doesn’t respond , works fine on older decices still

Rarely works the first time. Have to delete the app and reinstall every time. URC in general feels dated.

If you use the app and forget to close it it just stays on for ever and ever - somehow it stops your phone from going to sleep. No watch support so you have to use your phone to do the simplest things. Definitely needs an update.

When I log in it says unexpected response from the basestation.I Don’t know how to fix this

As long as ANY automation system is programmed right by the integrator it will work excellently such as this one. Nice interface, easy to use and totally customizable on the back end UNLIKE other systems like control4 which do the exact same thing

Horrible system. Breaks down constantly. I’m never able to use it to connect my TV’s volume.

Love that I can have audio around my house. My installer kept everything super simple for my family and I. Everything just works!

I understand they want you to buy the $900 remote controls for every room but this app is horrible. Crashes all the time, is so slow, and is not intuitive. I use the Apple Remote for every possible function to avoid this. URC in general is very frustrating. There’s always a glitch or failure and you have to constantly have technicians come out to fix the system that you dropped a ton of money on. Go Apple TV and Sonos and save yourself a ton of money and headache.

Incredibly glitchy. Screens change without prompting causing unintended channel changes and more. Crashes constantly. Installed and reinstalled many times with no change. Poorly programmed by developers. Needs a ton of work.
