How do I save a photo? I just upgraded and it is not as intuitive as when free
I am a blind artist and use this app to figure out the values of my drawings. I think it is helping my brain “see”. It is so helpful to understand the values of planes and how they interact to create shapes. I can’t thank you enough for this amazing app.!
The best I’ve found to help myself and my students to achieve correct values in watercolor. Love the App.
As a portrait artist, the portrait mode is a great tool for eliminating background noise, and live video mode works great with landscapes, especially cityscapes to see contrasts. Lets you see values better than any other tool I’ve used. Extremely reasonable cost for what you get. Less expensive than a cardboard values chart!
I don’t understand how to use this app
I was so glad to see the ability to set the value scale numbers to what makes most logical sense to me. I now have set: “Color direction” set to “White to Black” “Show value numbers” set to “on” “Start at 0” is checked. For anyone reading this review: heads up! The developer has graciously given us advance notice of going to a subscription model but allowing us and anyone who buys Pro before June to be grandfathered in. Buy the Pro upgrade ASAP! —-PREVIOUS REVIEW—- Could you please consider either reversing the value numbers or offering an option to do so? As it stands now, it’s slightly confusing especially when using copic markers which are numbered from lightest to darkest. It should be the higher the number, the darker it gets. That’s the way it is in the 2 other apps Lucida and DaVinchi. But I like to use this app for the overall simplicity & quickness of it. Currently: 1 Black 2 Dark Gray 3 Gray 4 White. It should be: 0 White 1 Gray 2 Dark Gray 3 Black. What do you think dev?
I am a landscape painter, and use this app with every painting, first to check tonality of the image, and also during the painting process. Every time I teach, I urge my students to get this app. It's just a fantastic addition to our tool chest. I can't thank the developer enough for making my artistic life so much easier!
Love it. But i forgot i even had it so i havent used as often as i should.
Value Study is going to help me make more successful compositions in my paintings. Thank you so much!
This app has become an important part my art tool kit - so many great features!
