Vancouver Map

Was in Vancouver and purchased this for my iPod Touch as an off-line app. It was so frustrating to use that I dumped it and bought Smart Maps- Vancouver instead. It's the same price, not perfect, but I like it much better.

Good coverage. Good info. I'd say it'll be significantly improved, however, if the streets were more visible without having to zoom in almost all the way. I use another map which has less coverage but seems to be fine with displaying most street names from a zoomed out position. I think the difference is that my other map program blows the map up to almost the entire screen. Believe it or not, on a tiny iPod Touch, it can make quite a bit of difference. Otherwise a good map, I keep it to reference the areas that are not included in my other program, but if only the street names were easier to read without zooming all the way, then I could use it as my single standalone map.

Crashed repeatedly. I gave up and deleted.

You are immediately required to pay $4.99 to use a map. Total scam.

The maps don't load when you scroll, you can't search for an address only the name of a POI, and the GPS can not locate you "on the map" in downtown Vancouver...... I don't know how this app shipped as it is. Bar none, the worst app I have ever used.

This app does not work. More bugs than a rotting log. You can't reach the developer's page either for help. A real disappointment.
