Time
Used to be one of the finest examples of the simple artform that is mobile game design. Then something changed, and it was decided that no longer mattered. Interfaces were reworked to squeeze out as much money as possible using the most intrusive of ads and microtransactions. Maximizing profits gave way to so many interruptions as to make the game itself nearly unplayble. And the only escape they can offer you is a premium upgrade… that is temporary. Now it’s just one of the most unoriginal examples of the profit-driven desperation that plagues the medium. The relic that is the Orwellian theme, it’s now just ironic at best.
