Don’t even bother.

Who knows if the app (not very intuitive) is the problem, or the chargers, but between them they contrive to create an almost useless/unusable solution. This is the only option for charging at centerparcs and after 15 minutes of messing around (it turns out PAYG option wouldn’t be accepted, you had to create a “wallet” and top it up), I got one charge to work. A mysterious serious of green and blue lights on the charger indicates something, but who knows what. I’d read the poor reviews, but though it was “bearable” to get a charge working, even though to begin with it said it was 504hours duration and it says “charging” even though it’s waiting till 11pm. Designers should distinguish between a “session” and actual charging. It’s still not clear whether I actually got charged (money) for that session or not - the app doesn’t have something like a “billing history”. All subsequent charge attempts failed, the app saying “taking longer than expected to start your charge”. After plugging in and out multiple times (as instructed) and moving to another charger (same result) I gave up after 20 minutes and left the car. The app shows each of these as 5 minute charge sessions - some the app just “spins” when loading. The latest charge session in the list just keeps saying “taking longer than expected”. There are no buttons or screens on the machines - so you are also screwed without signal. (Thankfully there is wifi in the centerparcs car park). Basically a disaster. Poor user interfaces. Lots of waiting and “spinning”. Need to be at the car to plug cable in and out when it fails. No proper billing history, just loads of phantom charge sessions. In short, the only reason to use this app is because you have no other choice.

Couldn’t get the VendElectric to accept C/C details. Kept reporting error. Also doesn’t take Apple Pay.

I wouldn't bother even considering getting a charge at center parks. You need this app and it simply does not work. Huge car park with so many chargers and nothing works. A real shame. I phone VendElectric and they were helpful, reset the charger etc but still nothing worked. They said that the money for charging goes to center parcs and not them but cannot believe they invested all this money in this nonsense.

Never works plug in and nothing happens another stupid little EV company that delivers nothing

We prebooked an ev changing space at Center Parcs in the Lake District. They use this crappy app there and it simply doesn’t work. I was told to try a guest space so I tried that, but neither worked. The app just said “error” every time I tried to use it. I gave up. We have to drive home tomorrow so first thing I need to do in the morning is to find a public charger off site that actually works. Complete garbage. Joke of an app.

Awful. Had to download to charge at Center Parcs but it would not work. It kept disconnecting and the UI is completely unintuitive. I ended up not being able to get a charge at all. Thank goodness I have a Tesla and don’t normally have to suffer these kinds of useless apps/providers.

If you unfortunately select the wrong charger, good luck trying to cancel it. There is no cancel button in sight when the “Starting your charge” screen comes up.

Literally the worst EV charging app I have come across! Everything about it is useless, it is difficult to set up, you have no idea how long you’re charging session has been going for - if you eventually get it to work that is! You have to search for the actual charger point ID number each time as even if you try to save to favourites, you’ll be saving the whole charging area instead of a specific charger port. It’s horrible in every way! Avoid at all costs if you can!

Used this at Center Parcs. Tried a few times and just kept saying “an error happened”. That was it. Despite setting it as PAYG I worked it out I needed to top up my wallet amount in the app to get it to work. Still, an error message that was actually useful would be good 🤦‍♂️
