Wind & Sea HR is the APP that allows you to always have the famous LAMMA weather forecasts for sea and wind with the High Resolution 3 km model (Model WW3 3km - WRF ECMWF 3km).
The sea area under consideration has its center in the island of Giraglia and the four adjacent sectors.
This APP is ideal for those who want to race or just navigate these waters.
The point of force is its ease of use and consultation with accurate and detailed maps, but at the same time very intuitive, thanks to the choice of the color scale made by the LaMMA consortium.
Available models:
- Wind at 10m
- Wind Gust
- Wave Height
- Wave Period
- Swell Height
- Swell Period
- Precipitation and Cloud Cover
- Currents
- Sea Temperature (weekly forecast)
Available seas:
- Ligurian Sea and Northern Tyrrhenian Sea
- Northern Corsica
- Tuscan Archipelago
- French Riviera
- Gulf of Genoa
Plus:
- Save the forecasts to display the maps even in case of lack of signal. The saved maps can be used only for the period of validity of the forecast and only if there is no signal.
- Maps animation to control evolution of forecasts of next days.
- Pinch to zoom the maps to see the details of available zones.
- On startup, displays the map at the current time.
- Legend of used scale for sea state, wind, rainfall and cloud cover.
- Full screen mode.
- Share maps on Facebook, Twitter or by email, save maps to the Camera Roll.
Available in english, italian, french, german, spanish.
Help for first three starts.
The forecast are updated twice a day.

L’applicazione fornisce dati differenti rispetto a quella normale , cioè non a pagamento ! Come è possibile ?

E la seconda volta che scarico a pagamento ....ma dopo poco vanno via i colori del cambiamento meteo del mare ....basta i miei euro non ve li regalo più reato Severina

Ma le mappe sono del nord Tirreno Costa Azzurra. Come rimediare?

Aggiungendo la rotazione schermo in impostazioni potrebbe aspirare alla 4ta stella.

Ho comprato senza leggere le recensioni..ed ho sbagliato.Nelle mappe e' indicata l'Italia intera ma quando apri si limita alla sola zona ligure..... Il sud Italia non esiste! Lentissima negli aggiornamenti... In pratica un furto!
Prototipo da evitare
Non so proprio a cosa serva, visto le scarse informazioni che firnisce. Purtroppo per scoprirlo ho dovuto acquistarla su suggerimento di un'altra APP, altrettanto pessima.
Ma a che serve?
Ho acquistato la versione HD pensando che funzionasse su iPad a schermo pieno. Mi sono ritrovato invece con la stessa app di cui avevo la versione "normale", privata però di tutte le zone di mare che invece sono offerte nell'app normale. Spero di non aver fatto un acquisto inutile; sapendolo avrei pagato il triplo ma almeno avrei preso l'app per iPad con le caselle multiple! Mi aspetto un messaggio di chiarimento dallo sviluppatore. RESTA UN PRODOTTO DI OTTIMA QUALITA' E IL CONSORZIO LAVORA IN MANIERA MOLTO EFFICIENTE E PRODUTTIVA SECONDO ME.
