Amazing free app

I can't say enough to praise this app as an aid to a thorough and deep study of the Bible. As a Catholic having studied the ancient languages of the Bible, this app is treasure trove. I can't believe it's free - and coming from a developing country I couldn't believe my fortune. But as they say, the best things in life are free :) Thank You, Verbum! God bless!

Catholic App For Every Catholic

Verbum has finally released a version available for free. Indeed the app truly contains resources about basic principles of Catholic faith and Christianity in general. I would highly recommend every devout Catholic to get this app to fully understand and strengthen our Catholic faith. Godbless Verbum for this wonderful app.

Top-notch Bible App

Only downside is that there are no free Catholic Bible versions except Douay-Rheims. But still it's good.

Unable to open

Ever since the update to iOS7, this application as well as faithLife Bible application do not open properly when there is no wifi. I use to be able to quickly read from this application but not I always get a prompt that says it would not open. I especially loved using these applications and hope it could be fixed so I can resume using it.

Crazy Expensive

The study bibles in the store are incredibly expensive, some being >100$. I don’t believe you get any for free, I.e. no Haydock. Use Catena instead. Actually free and had free notes that are very good.
