Verve - Top Cashback Rewards

Unsure if this is due to incompetence or intentional but they have broken using hide my email on set up as it only fills in the confirm email field then to top it off they have have disabled the ability to copy or paste into either field.

As the title says it’s changed name but it’s still poor. It’s either all online orders only and everything else is based near London. Do you realise there are a lot of people that don’t live and never want to live in london? Do those living further away not deserve offers and discounts too???

App is rubbish doesn’t link to Santander account

Iv just become a starling customer and as I was lookin Theo the app I seen tail cash back would love to try it out but every time I click the email link it won’t let me sign up and just says ooopppsss there was an error I used 2 different emails but still not working properly

Doesn’t let you connect to starling - as soon as you connect it chucks you back to the sign in screen. After that the app is no longer functional and just says “whoops - an error occurred”. This is the exact same problem / behaviour people are reporting back as far 2019 so it seems the developers have no intention to investigate the crash dumps and rectify the problem.

Like others found this in the starling app. Linked account no probs, but again like others shame that since I don’t and never will live in London then the offers are limited to two pasta places nearby. Would be good to know on your website or in the app where and when new companies are planning on expanding. So until Nottingham gets more then I prob won’t use this. This is why a 2 star review as no issues linking and seems to work it’s just the lack of venues. Increase venues then I’ll change the rating gladly. Downgraded to 2 stars from 3 as no reply and no change. Will be removed on next review starling unless improvement. No point linking if useless Edit Thought I’d try it again and wow still nothing really not London based. Used to be able to search via map easily and now it’s hard word trying to find out what’s near. Clearly they’re not interested in reviews as no reply or any improvements. Downgraded to 1 star as its worse than when I left review 2 years ago.

It’s a good idea but it’s limited to London really as there isn't much else. Joined them at the start and they said they would expand but it never really happened.

Not suitable for anyone in the North East, as there are very limited options.

I tried to write this review within the app ( but got an error) The app in principle sounds great, but unfortunately it’s not what’s written on the tin! Like most people I downloaded this app through starling bank. The sign up process is straight forwards, but also a waste of time when you find out there is only 2 retailers near you (I’m in Cardiff) belle italia and cafe rouge! On reading the reviews( over 15months) it’s clear no progress has been made with this app, and tail is only interested in getting sign up’s! I would not recommend wasting your time downloading and signing up, and banks like starling and monzo should stop promoting apps like this until they are fully established like many other incentive apps.
