vFlat Scan - PDF Scanner

I had to deal with Chinese Characters even though I can’t even read them. But, This app performed OCR so well. Now I can digitalize the docs without struggles. Thank you so much 😄

Amazing scanner … no need to anywhere for scan !!

Outstanding scanned images from a book I had to hold open. Much better than scanning in Apple Notes. However, moving images to my Windows PC and converting a txt file to Word is a multi step process. The premium version allows Vflat to do this within the app. I’ll look at the price of the premium level and decide if it’s worth it for me as an occasional user.

This app is a dream come true for me in my role as a librarian. I digitize local history documents and I’m only mad I didn’t find this sooner. Using a traditional scanner per page might be a 30second process but this cuts it down to a second. Can’t say enough good things about it. I’ve used it for newspapers, books, photo albums, etc and I couldn’t be happier with the results and efficiency.

This app is great and I just discovered that when combined with the Full Keyboard Access feature in iOS, it’s even better. I connect a bluetooth keyboard, turn on Full Keyboard Access, then in vFlat press Tab until the capture button is highlighted. After that I just press SpaceBar on the keyboard every time I flip a page. It would be great if they built in keyboard support!

처음에는 앱이 빠릿하고 결과물도 좋고 한번에 600페이지 찍어도 찍을만했는데 이제는 결과물도 우굴쭈굴하고 한 100페이지 찍으면 발열때문에 찍지를 못하네요 개선 좀 해주세요 이대로면 못써먹겠어요

It would be great if this app stopped crashing. I even just did an update and even after the update I scanned 4 pages of a book and it force closes during the scan. Then continues to do so for each scan after I reopen the app. Also it’s not as good as they would have you think at determining the margins of the page and flattening/cropping it at the proper boundaries. It’s better than most but could still use improvement especially when it comes to using the dual page setting. But I already paid for it so I guess I’ll keep it until my subscription is over.
