A great buy for this synth that is easy to understand and makes some useful sounds. It definitely invokes memories of the 80’s for me.
This is one of my favorite apps to make music with but for some reason it’s doesn’t work in Logic Pro. Now the projects I’ve used it in says it isn’t installed but I can open it in standalone smh. Please update!
Given the privacy policy under the new owner of this app includes tracking me outside of the app, I’m deleting it. Unfortunate, as this was one of my favorites.
I (used to) love this app and use it in most recording projects in one way or another. I see that the dev has added tracking to some of the other apps they’ve recently acquired… as much as I love VHS Synth, I will likely delete it if it begins to track me. ***Edit 12/18/2024 - unsurprisingly, trackers have been added to the latest VHS Synth update. Where is the benefit to adding personal ID tracking to a very niche synth app, definitely not to make the synth better. I’ll likely never buy one of this devs apps again and encourage anyone reading this to do the same. Hey dev, good luck with the new business model.
+1 to the other comment about GarageBand no longer seeing vhs synth despite the app being installed and fully functional as a stand alone
You can’t go wrong with this.
Is there anyway to make this available to route directly to iaa output to FL studio Mobile like you can with Synth One? That one connects perfectly but this one doesn’t show up on my Audiobus list :(
Jeez this is so good. Well done.
Digitalism 2000 has velocity settings, why not this one? Ive been waiting patiently for velocity setting since the app came out. This thing is not fun to play when you have to smash a key to get sound going.
