Does the job just fine
I needed to compress some screen recordings as for some reason iOS doesn’t do it in HEVC or a better codec. Does it wonderfully and $2 is a fair price.

...for shooting, editing, compressing, etc. The limitations of the free version I chose to ransom from the grasp of their captors by exchanging the very reasonable demand of $4 or so...
I would pay $4 for an AV1 and AVIF capable compression module that had support for one or two pass constant bitrate or quality factor encoder options as well as it batching or filtering videos by resolution or bitrate and going through all unoptimized videos automatically, since currently if we use the app to batch select videos it automatically tries to faultily set the whole selection to the lowest common bitrate instead of grouping or removing the outliers. The ability to denoise older chromatic block compressed videos and enhance or upscale them would be a good add as well paired with the lower file sizes and markedly higher quality from AV1 and AVIF. It should be able to determine what is in the recently deleted, files and folders, message storage, and messaging app caches to also compress those or remove duplicates or space waste, another in-app purchase I would pay $1 to $2 for. This all sounds like a lot to ask for, but the incentive and motivation for a better more valuable product/app is there. This app has saved me nearly 100GB in storage space on one phone by re-encoding everything to H.265 2Mbit, and I’m glad I made the in-app purchase for $2. This will help save and cherish family memories and reflect on adventures and experiences significantly better than with the worry of my phone being unusable when chock full of wasted space to where you can’t even download an app. Thanks developers! This is higher quality, functionally usable, and clean unlike most cloned hacked together play store ad-crammed Android apps.
Handy little ap that has worked flawlessly for years.
His trilogy of video file sorter, compressor, and editor are really nice. Simple, but they're stable which seems to be a rarity in this area. Well done.
Say you crop a 4k video to 9:16, it creates a 1260 x 2160p video. After that you cannot compress it to 1080p, the next option below 1260 x 2160p is a noticeable amount below 1080p. It’s also a little slow sometimes to load a video when you click on it, for me at least. An 8 second 4k video should load a little faster on an iPhone 14 pro.
“Save to Files” function does not work even though it shows up in the app. The app did not request to have access to files so this function just does not work. It would’ve been so useful for file sharing. Very disappointed that this function is not operational.
The app is awesome, easy to use and fast. One of the best video apps out there without a doubt...! This app is amazing and I would give it five stars if it had a button to move forward and backwards frame by frame or second by second, as I don't like moving my finger left and right and constantly passing the point I am trying to get to. This App is really great, I recommend it to all video editors, I use it all the time for its speed and easy to use features.
Doesn’t work
I like it
