A Useless App
The one and only reason why we would go the lengths of buying a video compressor is so that we can retain the freaking iPhone videos’ meta data. What this app does is, modifying the date/time setting postmortem. It converts or compresses the video, all meta data lost, it somehow manages to keep the original date/time, and modify it afterwards. When you go to your photos and click on adjust date/time, you will see at the right top corner, “Revert” and when you click , that’s the date and time the video was compressed , as original date/time. Due to my stupidity, I only found out when Google photos uploaded all the videos as the original date/time which is the date/time the videos were compressed. If you don’t care about the meta data of the videos, go for it, very cheap compared to some really good compressors.
