Convenient way to report issues
The app works pretty well, but I would suggest some changes. First of all, if you do any editing before submitting a comment, editing changes and deletions appear in the final report, even though they didn’t appear on the screen. Once submitted, there is no way to correct this. I would also suggest that you allow more than one picture to be submitted by an anonymous reporter. Sometimes it takes more than one to really show the situation. Three photos are allowed if you give your name, so I can only conclude that remaining anonymous was intended to carry a penalty. I don’t understand why. My final suggestion is that you don’t close a submission until the problem has been taken care of. Sending a reply that you will take care of it is not the same as taking care of it. My three submissions are promptly responded to, but none have been addressed weeks later. I recognize that this involves a little extra coordination and coming back to the submission to close it, but it is worth it to be truly responsive. I want to thank the person in the Vienna government who is responsible for making this app available. It’s a great idea. It saves your staff time answering phones and routing residents to the right department, and it is a convenience for us, too. It will only get better with time. Thanks
