VIOFO

Will not connect with my 2024 Honda Pilot with Apple CarPlay on and didn’t connect with CarPlay turned off. Then I had to delete my iPhone 13 from the Pilot and the Pilot off my WiFi list and restart both the phone and Pilot and reconnect the phone to get CarPlay working again. The app and Camera should be using Bluetooth to connect.

Unfortunately, this app is useless. Returning back to company. The camera may work, but the app is useless. So what’s the point of advertising the “app perk?” When phone and camera are connected via Wi-Fi the VIOFO app still doesn’t recognize that it’s connected. App is not able to be found within SETTINGS of phone. So I can’t even change permissions even when downloaded. You need to update the app again or pay somebody else to make a new app. VIOFO hotline can’t even help me.

I don’t quite understand the negative reviews. I’ve had no issues connecting my VS1 and works just fine. GUI is practical and works for what I need.

I’ve seen the reviews and it seems like a lot of people have issues but I don’t have any, the app is smooth and works perfectly fine I have a iPhone 14 Pro Max iOS version 17.5.1 and I just got a viofo a119 mini 2

It gives you a live feed, you can download all of your files straight from the app. I’ve never had an issue with it at all. Occasionally the live feed has been slightly slow but I don’t really care because it’s recording the footage and it is saving that footage properly. I can also take it out at any point I want easily

A229 pro with iPhone 14 everything up to date. Latest update to the app works now. Be nice if it was Bluetooth or something easier than the Wi-Fi connection.

I was able to connect on the first two days, but now the app always crash when trying to connect to the camera. Please fix and I would happily change my rating. I’m also available to volunteer myself as a developer to investigate and fix it if the company is currently lacking resources to do so.

Like many have said in their reviews, the app is beyond disappointing. The camera system is great, but the developer of the app has made such a poor app it tarnishes the company name. Due to it disconnecting/not recognizing the camera in the app long term, It will not connect to see the live view unless you are in the vehicle and press the WiFi button to connect to the camera each time—defeats the purpose of live view. The app is incredibly frustrating with a myriad of issues. Unfortunately, I would not recommend the product due to the app. I’d give this app zero stars if I could.

We own 4 VIOFO Dash Cams all different models and they all perform great. I know everyone had complained about the App not showing Live View or Playback videos and I was one of them too, well with the new update it was all fixed and everything works perfectly now, thank you VIOFO team. I have used other high grade Dash Cams and have to say VIOFO is by far ahead of everyone else in the industry with their Dash Cams. Highly recommend!

How can a company have a completely functional app for an important product like a dash cam? I’ve had this dash cam almost 2 years. The few times I’ve used the app, I’ve had to reconnect the camera. Every.single.time. Isn’t part of the need for a dash cam to have remote viewing? So how am I supposed to do that when it…disconnects…every…time. I’m on the market for a new dash cam & I won’t be buying this because it’s completely unreliable.
