Virtru Email Protection

This app is always buggy and never refreshed properly. I really want to use this app on my phone, but it never seems to want to work easily.

Did everything correctly, including generating an app-specific password for Apple mail. And although I got the email confirmation of verification, the app does not reflect this. After multiple attempts at activation, I deleted the app.

I hate this app. One of my coworkers is using it for encrypted emails. I have the app downloaded and got a new phone, now can’t open anything as they are verifying my email going a several hours now. Worthless.

I like Virtru in general, my only major complaint is that, at least on my iPhone 11 Pro running iOS 15.2, the passcode options do not work and lock me out of the app, forcing me to delete and reinstall. That’s true whether I go with the alphanumeric code or Face ID. Either way it locks the app and it cannot be unlocked. Even though I use a passcode/Face ID on my phone itself, I still use app specific locks whenever possible. If we’re serious about security, this glitch with the iOS Virtru app needs to be fixed immediately. Because I consider that to be an especially serious flaw, I only gave the app 3 stars, whereas I would’ve given it 4 or 5 stars otherwise.

I changed the app to have a passcode and since then it has not allowed me to access the app. It opens to a page requesting to type the code but then doesn’t have a way to submit/proceed after entering the code.

I have to use this app for my job, and ever since I started using it I rarely get the emails sent to me through this app. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. If I didn’t HAVE to use this app, I never would!

I have used several other secure email apps and this is by far the worst one. I still can’t open the email sent to me. Support is no help. Time wasting hassle - avoid this

I have the most up to date version of iOS and the app won’t ever open. It worked to enter my credentials, but won’t open now.

Straight garbage app.

Just horrible.
