***NOTE: Some older devices will not be able to play Virtual Town well right now. That includes: iPhone 4s, iPad 2, 1st-gen iPad Minis, and iPod Touch 4th and 5th generation. The game is very pretty and uses more graphics power than our previous games. We have optimized the game to help with performance, but you may still experience issues on these older devices. :) ***
Come, move in to Virtual Town! Become the new Mayor and help restore the town to its past glory!
A note from the developer:
Hi! Thanks for looking at Virtual Town! If you are looking for the features and "bullet points," just scroll down below this little note.
It's been more than a couple of years since we have launched a new game, here at Last Day of Work! Well, this is it, the new one. Yes, of course it is a real-time simulation, but this one is a little different. More than ever before, we feel like we have created a world.
The world lives and breathes in your device. Moon phases change as days go by (just like in your real world!). When the sun sets where you are, it's turning into night in Virtual Town. More than ever, we feel like the world lives and breathes. Watch seasons change. Watch relationships change. Watch your mayor's adopted little boy or girl grow, and learn how to manage the town.
We hope the world we have created immerses you as much as it does us. Something to know, though: just like a real world, this one will be changing and growing. The truth is, we are a small team and putting everything that we want into these games is not always possible. We hope to continue working on Virtual Town and making it deeper, richer, more real, and more full of secrets, as the months go on.
In the meantime, join us! You are right on time! Help us explore Virtual Town and come with us as we see where it takes us. And where did that previous mayor go, anyway?
With excitement and gratitude,
Arthur Humphrey
Lead Designer, Last Day of Work
Virtual Town is a little abandoned town right in your device! Come in and help out (they need it!).
* Manage a living, breathing town.
* True "real-time." Watch it turn from day to night, as your own day ends!
* Meet interesting, quirky residents. Make friends! Make enemies!
* Collect dozens of rare insects, gems, and botanical species. Restore the town Museum.
* Dynamic weather, seasons, and moon phases. Watch their little world change just like your own!
* Build and decorate your crib. Make it awesome. Fill it with stuff.
* Adopt a needy child, to raise as your own. Train her to help you so that she can eventually take over when you retire as Mayor.
* Uncover the secrets of Virtual Town. Where did the original mayor go? Why did he leave?

Fun but will cost you
I’m on day 5 playing the game. So far it’s fun but you do have to spend real money to get enough coins to be able to fix the lake and bridge. The amount of money you get in the game is not much and would take you a long while to fix those features. It’s not a game you would play all day as there is not much for you to do after you plant, trim cattails and case bugs to sell for coins. Some neighbors do have attitudes. I’m hoping more merchandise is available for sale in the stores because there’s not much. Tools break fast and just the coins you make off in game is not enough to keep up with everything.
The story?(Contains spoilers)
I had this game on my old iPad a couple of years ago, and got it on my new phone. I enjoyed playing it the first time, and many of my childhood memories are tied to your games. I played this game for about a month and rebuilt all of the buildings and got the note from the circle and took it to the museum and all, but nothing happened after that. I went through some old ldw forums and sites, and apparently the story was supposed to continue in an update. The last info I got from those forums were from 2016 and I don’t know if that update came or not. I know it’s been years since anyone played this game, but foes anyone know if the story is complete or not? Any information, if really old, is welcome.
So much potential!!
I should start off by saying- this game holds a special place in my heart. When I was little in 2015 I got this on my little Samsung tablet. The music, the people, the choices, the work. It’s a beautiful game (well, not really the graphics as much) but the graphics aren’t… terrible. You can renovate your house, grow the town, adopt a child and so much more. But I don’t think the developers know how much potential this game keeps. They should continue to focus on this game to add more options and to be able to grow the town even more! Please, think about coming back to this game. Add more! This game deserves it.
Thank you developers. Thank you. Even with what I just mentioned, this game is beautiful. Thank you so much.
Amazing game
This is SUCH AN AMAZING game, it lets you decide to adopt anybody you want and gives you tasks it’s amazing you have to rebuild a town though they should continue on doing progress on this game! I played this in childhood and I am trying to redo it now that I am a bit older nothing really changes since childhood, please please continue on this game and don’t give up on it! This can be such a famous game and has a ton of potential! It can be for kids and teens and even adults, I love it though I want there to be more!

I used to play this game all the time. it was my favorite game to play when I was younger. I remembered about it and I am going to play again
Updates 😄
I agree with “That’s it?” This game has so much potential. I love this game and have come back to play over and over. I enjoy catching bugs and designing the town. It would great if it was bigger. Maybe add fishing and more mining. Definitely add more decorations. Please come back to this game! So ready for an update here 😄
Love the game, tips for starting out
OKAY! First, where you’re going to be losing the most money is tools, so what I’m going to ask you to do is take advantage of that whenever you can! If someplace gets robbed, don’t fill those holes back! Put food seeds, your townspeople will love you.
It’s not really a good bargain to sell potatoes, carrots, and tomatoes, but you know what is a bargain? FRUIT TREES! They pay for themselves after two harvests! Leave the vegetables for your townspeople, DON’T LET THEM HAVE THE FRUIT TREES! One fruit sells for 30 coins(not counting tomatoes, of course)!
If your thought I’d that it takes too long, then why are you playing this game? But I have a second option that takes less time than fruit trees.
Earlier I told you to take advantage of the fact that tools is where you’ll spend the most money. Well you know what doesn’t break? BUG NET! Catch and sell bugs as often as you can(as long as they’re already in the museum)! This is gonna be the thing that makes you the most money. Plant flowers, too! BEES! They sell for thirty, too!! I used to hold onto bugs cause “What if my townspeople want them..” They can live without it, honestly. If they’re asking you for a bug you sold yesterday, that’s their loss, not yours. And if you sold a bug the day they asked for it…if you really care, you can buy it back for them.
I also recommend setting a budget. One for town development, and one for yourself. I haven’t been under 1000 coins this play through! And if you are able to check multiple times a day for bugs, you should be good at first!
Where are the Stones??
The stones used to be in the ground so we can break them, sell them and advance in the game. There are no stones to be found on either side of the pond, therefor no advancement in the game other than selling bugs and planting flowers/vegetables which only takes a player so far.
This is a good game
Hi this is a good game I’ve been playing it for a while now and I love it it’s like a Virtual Town with virtual people and you get a children too
