Beschreibung

Viso helps you and your healthcare team stay better connected between appointments. The NHS-approved app asks for information your doctor needs to know and responds with expert advice. It builds a more complete view of your health over time and alerts you to take action when serious changes are detected. Viso was designed by medical experts to help manage one or more chronic conditions in a single app.
NOTE: Viso can only be accessed with an invite from your doctor. Contact your doctor to confirm availability in your area.
Viso helps you:
- Share accurate, up-to-date blood pressure readings with your doctor
- Set medication and blood pressure measurement reminders
- Stay on the right treatment plan for you, agreed by yourself and your doctor
- Make faster progress towards your target blood pressure
- Save time with home monitoring instead of visiting the surgery

Research shows that managing your blood pressure and medication from home with the support of your GP is safe and effective, resulting in lower blood pressure for many people.*
Please always follow the guidance from your doctor.

Pressure checking

There seamed to be a couple of times when the page froze. I think it is a little annoying that you have to log in every time you open the app.

Really annoying

I try and open the app it goes through facial ID then freezes on a white screen with the word OMRON. Stays like this forever. Only way to get into the app is to switch off phone and reopen, Time consuming and annoying. Please fix.

Better than using a spreadsheet

A couple of annoyances - the app uses a 12 hour clock and it doesn’t seem to be possible to change this to a proper 24 clock to match your iPhone. It’s easy to accidentally slide the am/pm switch. Also it can record/remind your meds but only BP meds so if you are on other regular meds you’d still need a separate reminder. I use ROUND to remind me of all my meds.

Frustrating

Insolentsquid on

The app is a convenient way of sending BP data to your doctor, however logging in via the NHS app is clunky and inconsistent, and most frustrating of all is that if your set of readings are within your target but only just, the app will then ask for more and more and more readings “to get a more accurate picture”. Sorry, but it takes up quite enough of my time as it is.

I hate this app

This app does nothing to help your blood pressure, in fact, it makes mine go higher just thinking about it! It doesn’t know my history, it doesn’t know that my bp is the lowest it’s been in 14 years, despite being on meds. But instead of celebrating that I’m finally getting it under control (thanks to being put on thyroid medication!!) it flashes up a big red fear inducing sign saying contact GP, call 111, go to A&E etc. My GP is monitoring my results, I have spoken to them and they are happy with them. But this app keeps making me do more and more readings. If it simply let me record my readings and send to the GP it would be fine but it’s causing so much anxiety it’s not worth doing. I have even started making up readings just to shut the damn thing up!! Far too bossy and interfering. Hate it.

Crazy system

The whole thing has gone mad. Used to be simple. Just tap on the icon and you would be in. Now they have changed it. Every time you have to log in via the NHS app. Sometimes it just freezes. Minimum 4 minutes to get in. Usually 8 mins plus. Somebody needs to sort it out.

A very good system. Easy to use

Alert start date to take both

I missed the beginning of the week so will take 7 days from the Friday

System flexibility

Vereinigtes Königreich

I like the concept but its a little inflexible. For example when entering the second reading.

Inconsistent

I have found using the app frustrating. I always waited at least two minutes between no readings and was told “leave at least one minute and less than ten minutes between readings, only for the app to repeat the warning over time. The go notification function sometimes took hours before completing. My readings were all over the place (not the app’s fault), but I’ve had no feedback. Frustration with using the app, and apprehension prior to taking my no has lead to increasing no. This is not really monitoring, it is exacerbation of the issue. Do not use if erratic apps drive you nuts
