With Visual Budget, easily manage your personal and business accounts using powerful, advanced analysis and consolidation features.
Visual Budget can be used to handle several accounts simultaneously and sort them into different groups.
Expense/income categories are automatically created based on a standard model that fits most needs. You can of course modify this category list to suit more particular requirements for each of your accounts. Two levels of categories/sub-categories allow you to define your budget plan in an easy but precise way.
Assign a budget to every category, and accurately monitor the evolution of your income and expenses.
You can input your financial transactions manually, or automatically by importing CSV (spreadsheet) or OFX (bank standard) files with iTunes file sharing.
Check off your transactions to ensure that they match your bank statements.
Define recurring transactions, such as a monthly Internet subscription, once and for all.
Visual Budget also features Overview tools, allowing you to visualize the breakdown of your transactions and the changes in your balances in the blink of an eye, and to monitor your budgets efficiently
Several graphs (bar or pie charts) provided by the application give you a clear and synthetic view of your transactions and their breakdown into expense, income, category and budgetary changes.
The application comes with an example account featuring a dozen transactions which will allow you to quickly become familiar with it.
Freemium version, limited to 50 transactions per account. Integrated purchase unlocks unlimited transaction creation.
Universal application for iPhone/iPad, iOS 7.1 and above.
Mac Version available on the Mac App Store.

Does the job for years
Been using this for years! I think I paid ages ago. Although not much addition or changes to make it more trendy, the very simple UI and the whole app does the basic job of tracking expenses. Never thought of trying anything new. Almost panicked when I thought I can’t find in the app store 😂
Great even for free users
Have been using this for more than 2yrs now and still I am using this app. Having 50 transactions per account for free users are more than enough for your expenses tracking. Hope they add an option to print pdf report in account group to cover at least 2 to 3 years for better overview of your total expenses on a yearly basis. Thanks for this great app and more power.

Simple and easy to use!
Clean and sufficient
Edit as of Sept 2019: With the ios13 introduction of dark mode, please include a dark mode setting too. Same rating, still excellent and for about 2 years+ I'm still using it. This does everything you want from a money tracker. A minimalist. No extra. Works as expected and no ads. Worth spending for the unlimited version.

This had most of what I'm looking for in a budget app: accounts, budgets per category, customizable categories and most importantly, reports by month and by year. Its not the fastest or prettiest app, but it was the best choice for me in terms of features. Have just purchased the full version.ETA: unfortunately theres no option to carry over budgets to the next month.
