VitusVet Pet Medical Records

This app is very easy to use and very helpful when requesting appointments or medication refills. All of my pets medical records are kept in this app and helps me stay on top of his health along with grooming appointments.

I have four German Shepherds and had all their records inputted into the app. I recently went to update one of their records and everything was gone. Also, when you try to email the records from the app only a small portion of them are sent.

Being able to access my pets’ medical records anywhere is an outstanding capability. I have used it on innumerable occasions. The one area that it seems to fall a little short is sharing medical records. I have tried to do this 3 times now with Vets other than my primary ones and it has never worked as I expected. If I want to share the records from the app with a Vet, it should work to share all records. For example, I wanted to share recent bloodwork results for my dog with a Vet who is doing physical therapy for him. I tried 3 times when I was at this Vet’s office and it never worked. I had to report to going home, printing and then scanning the records to email to the Vet. This functionality would greatly add to the use of the app.

This app has made it very easy for me to communicate with my Vet! She can send me test results and update my pup’s records. When out of town, my pup got sick. With this app, I was able to share vaccination records with the Urgent Care Vet without worrying about whether I had the paperwork! Awesome! Thanks!

Just to pile on to the stress of my current pet’s ongoing diagnosis (possibly cancer), this app just plain does NOT work. All of my pets are listed, but there are no records listed besides vaccination history. That’s making this diagnosis extremely difficult. I have literally had to scan the paper records from my vet to pdfs, upload to them to my iCloud, and have to show THAT to the various vets I’ve been visiting. When I try to get help in the app, I get an error message that I don’t have an email address set up on my device (I do). When I try to contact my main vet within the app, it just shows me their phone number. Not helpful. I have called my vet about this issue numerous times and they have no idea what the issue is. This app has negatively impacted the healthcare outcome of my pets by delaying my access to their medical history.

I don’t know how many times saved me for losing records of my dog in the past few years. I cannot recommend enough.

I don’t like that it needs my email to make app work, any notifications can work through app and not email. The Facebook login was not working. No auto strong password. Wouldn’t let me enter a suite number for the veterinarians address. I quit and deleted account and app at this point. Needs modernizing and to easier to use.

I like the ability to order refills of my dogs meds, see their shot and medical records. Simple and easy to use.

I found this app through my vet. All the records and appointment notes are easy to view. Plus, the app can send current vaccine and medication via email to anyone you choose.

Vet recommended this app from day one of having my adopted child. Helps keep track of everything done for my children now. Easily can share records with a new vet and/or if you need to share with family while watching the dogs.
