Seems off? Might be a glitch?
I did it and got soprano but that just didn’t feel right. Ive always been a mezzo or alto. So i did it again and got soprano again. So i had my friend whos a tenor do it and he also registered as a soprano. I think its a glitch or something.
Bass is detected as soprano
I’m a bass but it always registers me as soprano, regardless of how high or low I register my reading sample. Absolutely worthless. It’s not even entertaining, except for making other people laugh at its incompetence.
Lousy App
This does not deliver a true representation of singing range. It’s not user friendly and almost amateur. Save your money and find a better quality product.
Something Soulful Please.
This App. has The potential to be a great app. According to this app, I am a Mezzo Soprano vocalist, but the App. only presented songs by Men for my voice. Also, there was nothing current available for me to sing. Especially there was nothing soulful presented. I would’ve paid $3.99 if there were soulful songs available. Lastly, my range surpasses what’s available in the app, but the app stops monitoring before I reach my lower range. I’m a female, but I can sing baritone notes, I can also hit Mariah Carey notes, but again the app would not register those notes.
Had this been more robust, I would have easily purchased it. Thanks for the experience and the work you have contributed to develop this app. I will keep my eyes open for an update.
Disappointing
I had high hopes for this app. It sounds great in the description but alas I find it severely lacking in actual delivery. The pitch range finder is way off to start with. I am a bass and for some reason it says “Mezzo Soprano” after recording my voice. That’s ridiculous since my vocal range is from C1-A4. The range scale inexplicably ends at C2, so it’s missing an entire octave at the bottom of the register. Granted not all basses can hit C1 but they should be able to hit either an E1 or F1 and that’s not an option with this app currently. I know you can adjust the sliders manually but, in my opinion, that really defeats what this app was designed to do. Maybe the dev put that in so you could tweak things to see what other songs and artists would match up with you if you sang in a slightly higher or lower register. The top end of the Soprano range does not seem to suffer from being cut short like the bass. There are probably some sopranos that can go above the C6 and would say extend this to C7. I’m not exactly sure what buying the pro version of the app gives you, but I, for one, am not willing to spend money to upgrade an app that in my opinion is already lacking in its delivery. For now I’d say pass on this app until the dev makes some necessary tweaks!
An octave off?
I may be mistaken, but I believe this app is telling me an octave below my pitch. I don’t think my voice is near a bass but it’s saying that I’m singing a f2 if this is right, I’m sorry. It doesn’t seem like it is though. The only reference I have is my friend who is in choir class and I feel like he probably is right. He’s a tenor with his lowest note being c3 and I can’t sing lower than him, but this app tells me otherwise... 4 stars only because I’m not sure about me being right.
Know your range before hand
This is not good for finding your range only for finding like singers which is valuable
This app is a scam!!! So vicious
This app is a scam. !’ It worked for a second and automatically put me in a game app SHI j cost 140 dollars . I’m glad I didn’t fell to their trap and hit a wrong button or at least I hope i didn’t. It’s like a goest! It doesn’t show it Among my apps that I can remove it!!!
Soprano/ 4 octaves
I’m kinda proud of myself I’m a soprano and can sing 4 octaves... that’s Ariana Grande’s range 😭
I have a bigger range
Ugh, I can go over 2 octaves high than it would let me
