Vocal Reader

This is an app that connects to story tellers around the world and I am unable to find one story that is not in English.

Is it hard to add a “+” button for when you’re in the spur of a creative moment and you want to post on Vocal from your phone? Not sure why that wasn’t implemented already… 🤷🏼‍♀️ seems like a bad business move to me to not add that. Just a suggestion.

It be better if creators could use this app to contribute to Vocal. A lot of the people on vocal contribute anyway. It’s frustrating that you can’t edit or submit anything on the app.

I’ve been on the app for over a year now. I can definitely say that this app is a life changer when it comes to access. There are so many times I wanted to just grab my phone and read a story well I had a few minutes to kill. That’s the great thing about Vocal - there is so much great content that can be read quickly. For this reason, the app is a no brained and the perfect complement. So far, no glitches and I’m loving it!

I’ve been on Vocal for a few years now, at first to practice my writing here and there, and eventually a pretty regular reader. i’ve been waiting forever for Vocal to launch as a mobile app and i have to say, i only downloaded it a week or 2 ago and am already obsessed!!! i’ve been trying to be more mindful of the mindless scrolling on my phone and trying to be intentional about reading thoughtful, interesting content that makes me thing. Since downloading this app I’ve already spent so much less time scrolling through mindless sites, and find myself more and more popping in to read a few articles throughout the day. It’s so easy to access in app form, right on my home screen, and altogether just a valuable discovery tool for me as a reader (so far.). excited to see what else they release feature-wise. TLDR- it’s a great app, easy to navigate and altogether awesome content to discover.

I have been waiting for Vocal to come out with an app so I can read during my commute! I enjoy reading on the Vocal app instead of mindlessly scrolling on my social media apps. There is a huge variety of communities to choose stories from which fits perfectly for when I want to switch from reading something educational to a fun fiction short story. I also love the clean design of the app and how easy it is to navigate and follow my favorite authors.

I’ve been a huge fan of Vocal since day one and I’m excited to finally enjoy the convenience of an app. It’s a great way to keep track of my favorite creators and read stories daily. I’m excited to see what’s next for Vocal!

I read stories on Vocal daily so I was delighted to hear they made an app. I love that the stories are written by real people who are enthusiastic about improving their writing. The app interface is clean and easy to use. I’m excited to see what they develop next (Vocal, if you’re reading this: it would be great to write drafts on the go!).
