I downloaded this today and had a lot of fun testing out the different voice options. There's a lot to pick from even on the free version! And it gives you 333 credits to use with premium voices so that's a bonus. I think my favorite part is the UI though, it's clean, easy to navigate and looks really nice. Overall, I'd say it's a pretty solid app for ai voice generation.
Nice
I played around with this app and I enjoy it a lot. I give it 5 stars!
At first I thought this was going to be just another app to read text aloud, but it is definitely way more than that, and all the voices I've tried so far sound 100% human.
An essential tool for anyone in need of natural-sounding audio. I love that it is not limited to English because we sometimes work with Spanish texts too, so this is pretty nice.
The app makes it easy for anyone to create high-quality, customizable voice outputs. And I have to add that I'm very impressed by the vocal range of VoiceGen, there's one for every need.
I've tried many similar apps, but the diverse language and accent support that VoiceGen offers is truly a game-changer. I think this can be a great tool for businesses.
This text-to-voice app is incredibly handy for converting written text into spoken words on the fly. It's user-friendly and efficient, making it a go-to tool for both productivity and accessibility.
The app gives you ~330 characters to try out the paid models. The free ones are mostly gimmicks and maybe one (or not even one) are actual human speech, so I wouldn’t bother. That being said while you can definitely tell the voices are a bit off, the intonation changes and ability to stress words did actually impress me. I haven’t paid for it but just going off the available voices, the outputs aren’t bad. I did also try other languages I speak and it wasn’t as accurate as English though. I just don’t know that I’d pay to use this if I can download and run free models on a PC, but I guess that’s the price of convenience 🫢
