16 GB aan opslag???
Wat wordt er door de app allemaal wel niet verzameld dat er ruim 16 GB aan data door de App wordt verzameld. Ik maak mij nu serieus zorgen over welke gegevens er verzameld worden. Zeker ook omdat Volvo nu een Chinees merk is.

Na de laatste s/w update afgelopen dinsdag toont de app geen gemaakte ritten meer.
Veel kinderziektes
Regelmatig opnieuw aanmelden. Na update auto naar 1.5 onjuiste weergave laadniveau. Laadstroom niet te regelen.

The absolute worst of the worst.
Abysmal, really terrible, extremely bad and I can keep going for a while. Even after the recent update (January 2025) this app is still by far the worst EV car app in existence. Still can’t manually set a temperature when starting the climate control. Still can’t manually switch on the heated seats and/or steering wheel when starting the climate control. Still not possible to set more than only 1 timer for the climate control. Still get logged out of the app multiple times per week which requires re-installation and activation in the car. Still don’t get push notifications about the charging status. Still takes forever to lock and unlock the car through the app if it even works at all. Volvo is no help in at all. It is very clear that they don’t care about their customers whatsoever. It’s painfully obvious by the standard copy paste answers the give in response to the many terrible reviews. If anyone who is considering buying this car reads this…. Don’t!!!! You’re going to miss a huge part of the promised functionality of the vehicle because of this absolutely terrible, non functioning app.
Het is te doen, maar…..
Mist nog wat functies. Zoals openen en starten met de telefoon (zou een functie moeten zijn, aangegeven bij de koop van de auto), achterklep openmaken via de app (bv. als je een volgende keer de naar de auto loopt met de boodschappen in je handen, preconditioningschema (kan nu maar voor één tijdstip) echte profielinstellingen (neemt stand van de spiegels bv. niet mee op dit moment). Enz, enz……
Terrible app
Keeps logging me out. Doesn’t send notifications when trunk was left open or car not locked.
Disaster ex30 software
De systeemsoftware van de ex30 is een disaster, andere woorden heb ik er niet voor. Zo gebruiksonvriendelijk en ontworpen door mensen die waarschijnlijk geen auto rijden. Dat een merk als volvo zich met zo’n softwarebedrijf in laat begrijp ik echt niet. Als dit zo blijft is dit mijn eerste en tevens laatste volvo die ik nog van mn leven aanschaf. Overigens communicatie heeft volvo nog nooit van gehoord.
Car location not visible any more while car is in use
I was able to see the car location via the app, even while it was in use. For the last couple of weeks (maybe more than a month), I cannot see the location while the car is moving. The car sw is still the same. Why is this the case now? Not good at all.
Slow and not many functions
Slow connection to the car (as far as I know you connect to a Volvo server and not directly to the EX30.), have to start car preheating twice, only one timer for pre heating or cooling the car. Also the aren’t many function within the app. Please take a look at the Tesla app where you can open the electric tailgate, effortlessly install car updates and set more than one timer for pre heating and cooling.
