App crashes
App is constantly crashing. Hardly works at all. Cool concept, but incredibly poor execution.

The app asked to use my location. There seems to be now way to find other users based on location. I thought that was the whole point. I posted a chat that is probably visible to all users seeing if anyone is close to the game store in my are. The post before was for someone trying to find someone in their area and they’re across the Atlantic from my country. I may have better luck using Craigslist for this. Using location would be helpful but even thought it is asked of you, there seems to be no way to use it to find other users. What a shame. I have to see this ad when viewing 40K content on YouTube . What a waste of time and money .
It’s a good idea but there is not many people on it and it doesn’t fulfill, or even attempt too fulfill, the purpose that I thought it was intending. I was expecting an app that would bring communities together in local areas. There is no inherent mechanism for this. I don’t see any functional difference between this and any other social media platform, and the others are just more established.
Vox Link’s idea is a great one; let’s get everyone interested in TableTop games like D&D, WH40k, WHAoS, etc on one app, and make it easy to find a new gaming group. Love the concept. Unfortunately, you can tell that the app is still in the learning phase of executing that vision. Finding groups nearby is *the* advertised goal of VL, but yet there’s no way for a group to set a location, and thus no way for users to use their location data to find nearby gaming groups. Finding groups in general is not great, as the only views you get have a side-scrolling menu with a whopping 2 groups shown at one time. This needs to be a better experience for the user. For example, one option would be to have a clickable link under Groups on the browse page, that then redirects you to a new page where it shows a list of groups with filters for things such as game, location, play style, etc. Additionally, the focus of the app needs to be on the social aspect, rather than the content. Having groups buried beneath content creators, news, battle reports etc makes it much harder for the average user to find the social groups. I want to love this app, I really do. Its advertised pretty regularly by some of my favorite 40K content creators, but unfortunately it’s just not quite there design wise. Keep up the excellent work, I could see Vox Link becoming a very successful platform going forward if it improves its interface. Unfortunately, with a very small user base and a near-impossible to navigate UI, I’ll have to pass for the time being.
