was hopeful, but this app is just too buggy.. especially when adding all my local music into the list. unable to do it in 1 go

Tracks are still disappearing on the newest update. Support team are no help at all. They wanted me to subscribe for membership to use their cloud storage. What kind of solution is this. Useless app.

I love the user interface and overall feel of the app as a platform to listen to FLAC audio. However, the tracks in my collection always seem to disappear. The tracks are still intact in my library but not in my collection which I spent a lot of time curating. This is a frustrating issue and I hope the devs will try to fix this unnerving problem. ☹️

Swipe left/right to change songs? Checked Play flac? Checked Stream youtube as mp3? Checked Equalizer? Checked. What else could you ask more from a music app??????? The UI is nice to see and user-friendly too. Would use this forever/10

It's a trap! The screenshots are a lie! Despite its exotic user interface, VOX never fails to frustrate me in the user experience aspect. I purchased VOX expecting it to be well-polished (since I like the Mac version a lot) but I'm truly let down by the iOS counterpart. For instance, the app doesn't show the full track name. If you have a lot of albums with tracks of the same name prefix but are only differentiated by the disc numbers appended at the end, you're going to be as frustrated as me. The search is also bad as the track names in the result list also get truncated. Furthermore, if you're a person who has a lot of songs in your playlists, too bad. The scrolling is slow in VOX and there's no compact view of your playlist. You're stuck with seeing 6 tracks at a time until you have to flick your thumb to scroll the screen. For a music app that is supposed to appeal to audiophiles, these shortcomings are downright unacceptable. These are just two examples of annoyances in the app. There are many more little ones and they add up to a significantly terrible UX. What's worse is that the developer doesn't seem to give any poop. Despite being released more than a year ago, a lot of user concerns remain unaddressed by the developer. The developer's response to the issues that users voiced out on their website discussion page is moot. You'll find that the I-don't-give-a-poop replies a norm on their website discussion page. They go something like: "We'll consider this, thanks!", posted a year ago. "It will be on our priority list, thank you!", posted a long time ago. Yes I'd be damned to believe their petty lies concocted to give false hope to gullible and ignorant users. Most of the updates released consist of only bug fixes, nothing to indicate that they really listened to the users' problems. Apple's music app does a lot of things better than this and I would highly recommend against buying this app. Unless you need lossless audio file format support or advanced EQ, don't get this app until the developer starts showing commitment of improving a lot of its UX aspects. I only bought the app because of BS2B support but I'm very disappointed in everything else. I very seldom would go out of my way to type out a less-than-5-star review but I'm trying really hard to love this app and I hope my rating brings a little attention to the developer. I know I'm being desperate but everyone should be well-informed before they decide to make a purchase.

It is a very practical and nicely designed app.really like the feature to play YouTube as song.
