VOX Unlimited Music - Music Player & Streamer

Wanted alternative to ultra-restrictive Apple Music. Apple removes playlists, doesn't recognize songs downloaded..I can go on. So does Vox solve it? Who knows? Don't buy.

Says “millions of free songs”. But, when you install and open the app, there are ZERO songs there, with no clue as to how to go about loading said millions of songs. Is this a joke of some kind?

One minute I have access to my apple library and the next second I have access to nothing. I have song cooking along nicely then it stops. Flaky beyond my tolerance.

Absolutely nothing shows up to play, I guess this app is dead

I am trying to find a replacement for itunes. A review said Vox was great. I downloaded it on my iphone and Win10 laptop. Then discovered its like $90 to actually use the function I want. I want to “easily” transfer songs from my laptop to my phone. If it worked slick I might pay the money to be rid of iTunes but how do I know if it will work at all? I’ve already gotten burned downloading a different “awesome music manager” that lost half of my library transferring. Not buying something I can’t test drive. Deleting.

There are no songs to play

The search function does not find any songs even using the broadest search perimeters nor do any songs show up in any other feature. I do love the parametric equalizer though, but without any songs to play it is worthless. The regular VOX App used to have the Parametric Equalizer as part of the basic App but the restricted it to the premium subscription package. Without an EQ the music doesn’t sound good. I do have to thank the other VOX App for a great basic package which they provide free, and my only bummer is the required upgrade to get the EQ. Other than that I give the other VOX App an 11 out of 10 stars. Cheap’os like me must learn how to appreciate what we get for free and only dream about the cool features we can’t afford!
