Difficult to use sometimes. It’s not really that well thought, needs more user research. Slow, not much content, many things under a paywall.

Once upon a time it was an application that it was really amazing! I liked it so much that I paid to buy many filter packs. With fantastic results in my photos! One day the company decided to begin the idea of subscription. In the beginning some tools weren’t free as before. But in a next step, even filters weren’t free.. The filters that I have bought! What a professional behaviour is this! What a serious company, really! Do you believe after all these that I will make a subscription? You should care a little more for your old customers.. This is the meaning of professionalism.

First of all, the new updates has made my experience less interesting than before.I prefer the app, as it was before.It was easier to use and more fun. Secondly, why everything needs to be paid by a subscription? A lot of tools are out of limits, for no reason.This drives the users away.Not everyone has the money for a subscription. And last but not least, why the app gets always stuck, even though I update it regularly? For example now, it doesn’t let me delete the descriptions below my photos. These problems have to be solved as soon as possible!

I love vsco and i have a paid annual membership BUT i cannot even use it. Its always lagged, whatever button i click the app does not respond and it is completely useless, so basically i gave money for nothing. I have been using it for so many years and now that i chose to invest in it, this problem has occurred and seems like it won’t be fixed anytime soon since it’s been months that i’ve been facing it.

I’ve been using VSCO for many years, bought numerous of filters. But since introduction of the paid membership things purposefully are made difficult, annoying to nearly impossible to use. I have a selection of my rightly purchased/owned filters but recent updates made the app so glitchy that I can’t even use them properly. It is like they want to push their old users away. I can’t even save multiple pics, they locked some basics features ‘tone, clarity, grain’. It’s a shame of what this app has became. You sold out and lost touch with reality.

So many problems after last update!! Please fix it

I used to have VSCO in the past and I enjoyed it but now I downloaded it again and for some reason it refuses to post any picture. When I select an image to post the app asks to upgrade to Pro. How can I post photos for free without upgrading???

I have been using VSCO for years, and I used to love it until the team has decided to overdo the promotion of the VSCO membership within the app. That being said, I tapped to try the subscription just because I couldn’t anymore stand to get all those promo areas within the app, and even though it stated ‘try for 7 days’ I got charged for an annual membership! This is definitely a dark pattern! Unacceptable.

This is the perfect place to share your art with other people and also see others work, although I would like it to have a comments and likes system like most apps this is nice, also its preset filters are perfect

It’s worth to be a subscriber for the filters and everything! Great app, good aesthetic. I’d love if they removed the username tag when you share an Instagram story directly from the app. It doesn’t let you delete the •••vsco/username••• logo. It’s the only things that grinds my gears. Apart from this, great app!
