VXT

I switched from Verizon to Mint Mobile to save money on my business line, but Mint doesn't have its own visual voicemail, so I looked around for a bit and landed on Vxt. It has features I didn't know I wanted, like transcriptions sent to my e-mail and voicemail accessible from anywhere, like my personal phone and computer. Thirty extra bucks a month still has me playing less than what Verizon and ATT wanted. The negative reviewers on here seem to have made their own errors, which they're upset at having to correct; sorry, developers, that this affects your rating so much. PSA: Using the website via computer to make important changes to an account, rather than a phone app, is better anytime it's an option! That's my experience as a computer technician who's both set up and deactivated hundreds of accounts over dozens of different services for customers over the past ten~ years. Try that if you're having trouble, on here or any other phone app.

I downloaded this app to try it out and get custom voicemail but now I soon as I try to forward it then all my calls don’t go through like anyone that calls me it doesn’t make it to my phone i’m uninstalling this app until I get a response because I don’t want to deal with this

Doesn’t work for iPhones on vodafone. How useless is that? Customer service never replied. So they got my money for months without supplying any service. More fool me.

Downloaded to compare to competition. Looks decent enough in terms of features and functionality. However, I did not add my phone number to the app and a bug thus prevents me from deleting my account. I wanted to see what was behind the pay options, and had to create an account to get that far. Not bad, but not user friendly in this way. Still probably worth a look if you are comparing against other paid services.

Firstly, it was not clear that my voicemail was going to be forwarded to a completely separate location than my phone. I tried changing the voicemail on my iPhone voicemail settings, only to be told that my voicemail message never actually changed. I finally went back to the app and found the greeting and deleted it. I realize the app was not what I was looking for and I’ve tried to delete my account, but the app is so buggy it will not let me delete my account. As a result I am still unable to control my voicemail from my iPhone.

Love it. It’s so much more than iOS’s visual voicemail.

Easiest phone system I have ever used

Pretty great app especially with the recent updates.

I’ve found since its inception, Vxt to be a incredible startup with a vision, a wonderful alternative to listening to endless voice messages; extremely helpful and time saving especially in this technological age with few advances in areas for those particularly in the disability space. Also far better than those following in behind, with better customer service, incredible leadership and teamwork. Vxt and it’s team should be proud of their product and advancements and ethos.

Unintelligible transcripts, not intuitive to use, great idea but maybe the technology isn’t there yet to deliver on the promise.
