Wakayama is home to many cultural heritage sites and a rich landscape. We have created a new app with built-in audio guidance, so that you can better enjoy the appeals of the area.
There are two main audio guides for you to enjoy with the Wakayama City Tourism app:
Tomogashima, to which we have added Katsuragi Shugen (Japanese mountain asceticism incorporating Shinto and Buddhist concepts), which is currently gaining popularity after having been recognized as a Japanese heritage.
Wakayama Castle, where you can enjoy the history of the castle through stories.

音声が遅すぎて待ってられない

いい声でのアナウンスなのですが、あまりにゆっくりに説明なので倍速を選べるといい。ゆっくり過ぎて聞いてられない

良いと思いますが位置判定が厳しい

友ヶ島に一人旅で渡りましたが、楽しめました。しかし位置判定にズレがあったり、かなり近づかないとvisitにならなかったり。 (灯台が特にずれています。南西の折り返し辺りまで戻らないとvisitにならない) あと、サウンドスケープは本当に指定の部屋の中に入らないとはじまらないので場所があっているのか少し不安になりました。表の道で反応してくれるとうれしいです。一人旅だと現場に着いて写真と見比べて「ふーんなるほど」で終わりがちなのですが、新しい気付きを与えてけれたり、見どころの見落としを防いでくれるのでとても良いと思います。

地元和歌山市もやるじゃんと。

クラウドファンディングを悪用したりと古くて駄目な点が目立つけど、こういうこともやっているんだなと。

その場所にいても再生できない。

アプリ内の解説には満足なのですが、その場所にいてもアプリがなかなか認識してくれません。野奈浦広場においては、30分近く看板の辺りを歩いてスマホの再起動等もしましたが結局、解説は聞くことはできませんでした。スムーズだったのは旧海軍聴音所のみで、他は全て苦労しました。せっかく素晴らしい解説を用意しておられるのにもったいないと思います。　たとえば各ポイントにパスワードを用意し、入力すると解説が聞ける、QRコードを用意するなど、認識できない場合にせめて解説だけでも聞く方法を用意していただきたいです。対応をお願いします。

良いのに知名度が…

せっかく素敵な音声ARアートなのに、大半の人がアプリの存在を知らない様子でした。祝日なのでそれなりに人が居ましたが、アプリを使用して展示を見ている人は自分だけといった感じでした。ヤミツクの調査報告展はアプリがあった方が数倍面白いですね。ヤミツクは良かったのですが、サウンドスケールは、場所の雰囲気と合っていない気がして個人的には微妙でした。
