Since the last update I've been unable to access any previous issues, any attempt to restore back issues ends with an error message. So frustrating, hopefully future updates will fix this problem. It's disappointing that such a wonderful magazine, with an emphasis on good design, has such a poor app.
Very slow. Will not sync iTunes subscription. Interface worse than last version. Rather ironic for a design magazine
Really enjoying the app but my February Issue hasn't even appeared in my library, tried contacting Wallpaper with an enquiry about it but to no avail so far. Paid for a years subscription didn't expect to completely miss an entire issue. I have checked to see if there was a February Issue released and there was so I can't understand what the problem is. If I don't get it resolved I'll have to cancel my subscription which I don't want to do but can't afford to keep getting missing issues.
So disappointed. This is merely just a lazy thumbnailed ebook subscription. I was expecting some form of interaction since the magazine is painstakingly put together by professionals editors and creatives. I'd rather spend the money on the printed version.
Menu buttons does not work. If I start to read one issue I can not get to the mane to buy another one. Technically the magazine is just a pdf file. Would be great to see better level app for design magazine.
Makes no concessions to the medium, in my case an iPad Pro. Can't seem to switch to landscape, so two-page spreads are just that, you have to step between then. Enlarge the font and you'll have to get it back to the original size before moving on. Initial signing up is not easy; very poor error-trapping (using an illegal character in the password leads to an infinite loop), lots of confusing instructions and out-of-date iPad advice. Print is safe, if this is all that the stylish Wallpaper* can muster.
I love having this magazine to hand when I'm travelling.
I have been a collector of Wallpaper* since issue one.The digital version is reflective of the über cool philosophy of this magazine.It's all in the attention to detail.
... and beautifully designed. So much better than the glorified PDF readers of most magazine iPad 'apps'.
