first of all, i can't recommend this game enough. It's that good. Very challenging and diverse. i mean, i played it for possibly thousands of hours and i know how to win and create a broken build every time. now is the "but". the only reason it's not 5 stars is because a couple of years ago, the creator put through an update that now requires you to be online to "prove" you paid for the game. .like, if you're not connected to the internet, the game treats you like you're playing the demo version and won't let you past the third floor anymore. "always online DRM" is a pretty D-bag move IMO

This is a really fun game but on iPad at least the Recover functionality does not work so I cannot descend into the dungeon. I attempted to recover 5 times and then on the sixth after save and quit it let me in. Waz, a little help! By the way, you can win. I have won many times. But it depends on the luck of the moon , living pet, lightning , having the ability to teleport , and raise the dead.

Been playing Wazhack for 13+ years, only have ever beaten once. Best rougelike you’ll find on the App Store

This game has the most replayability of any game I have ever played. I had finished the game 20 times. But with the new mods, I started playing again and have finished it 20 times again. But I have still only finished with 12 characters (and still not several of the original 16).

Could we get controller support?

Also called Rogue-like game by younger people. The game has been updated from time to time and you can try different characters to experience variations of the game. There are some helpful tips on the wiki for this game. I have played many many times and won a few times. Fun at Easter time for the Easter eggs one finds. It shouldn’t take long to figure out if this game is for you.

The game is okay, but pretty much impossible. There are minor glitches, like pets getting stuck on ladders, and Fenrir getting stuck in doorways. Even the glitches wouldn’t be bad if the game wasn’t so damned impossible. How about a version of the game that ISN’T impossible? Maybe a variable difficulty? An impossible game is no fun!

Love the game but can’t really play it on my iPhone 13 because some menu items, such as when you open the inventory, on the left side are obscured by the black iPhone 13 cutout.

Had this game for ten years now, and the latest update is terrible, at least on an Ipad. Waz took away the ability to rearrange your spell list, getting a pet to do anything is a repeating myriad of clicks because you can’t rearrange the UI. The new quest is no great shakes. It’s like the new version had no beta testing on the Ipad. If you have lighting issues move it down to like -6, which makes no sense but helps. Give us the option to use the previous version, you can keep this one. I would have sent this direct to the developer but he took that link out of the options menu.
