WDSU Parade Tracker

This is sad because WDSU invented the Parade Tracker. I hate that the WDSU Parade Tracker pops up an advertisement for French Market Coffee everytime you touch the app. And the POP UP Ad is relentless!!! The WWL app doesn’t have pop ups and seems to be more accurate!

I understand and support a free app having ads, but the coffee ad pops up so often the app is practically unusable. Literally after every click in the app. It’s so constant and disruptive that it can’t even be helping good will towards the brand. I would be more than happy to pay a couple bucks to remove it but thats not an opinion.

Used to be good, but now an annoying ad pops up literally every time you open or refresh the app. Deleted and replaced with the wwl tracker. No regrets.

2024 parades are totally f’d up. It says they are in various stages of progression but they haven’t even started yet. Force-quitting doesn’t help.

The non stop advertisement pop ups almost make it unusable. Time to switch to the other tracker.

This was always my go to app for Mardi Gras season. That is until they made it so that every time you open it or do anything on the app you get a pop up that you have to close. Open the app add pops up, click on a parade add pops up, go back to check on other parades, add pops up. On to another app.

Having an ad literally every time you open a route is just inexcusable.

This app would be so much better if there was a feature to filter by location. Also the parades are not in chronological order which makes scheduling more difficult.

I’ve used this app to track parades for years. It’s understandable that with no Mardi Gras Parades this year that there is nothing to track but in place of tracking parades they have given us and endless supply of pop ups and notifications begging for donations. I get it. People need help but I don’t need a notification 4 times a day to remind me. Deleting this app and I’ll find another one next year.
