Why the advert and upgrade when app is closing end of year , have the changed there mind again

The majority of the features of this app have been withdrawn. The app now only shows you where the nearest Volkswagen dealers are. Obviously Volkswagen have decided they get no benefit from this app and so have withdrawn most features. Really they should delete it as it only provides a service which you can get from Google.

Bought a new VW now I have to buy a data plug? I’ll manage without it.

Been a long term user but for last few weeks noticed that it no longer runs. Won’t open at all. What’s going on??? Using latest version of app on iPhone 12 mini with latest iOS.

I just think this app is great I have used it since I got my 2018 VW California that is used for weekend breaks UK and European holidays I just love all the stats of where we have visited the date’s and times and the distance travelled, the fuel prices costs and mpg and location of refueling Its great to look back on wet dark nights whilst planning our next trip I use both VW and Audi apps and have never had a issue with them I am very sad that this service will be closed at the end of 2024 I hope that it will be replaced with a new version

It shows a fuel range >200 miles than the car shows. It fails to notice the engine management warning lamp. It doesn’t show that I need to put adblue in All in all, worthless and good job Vw will bin it next year

Today I have received a message via the app stating this app will shut down 31/12/2024 losing all data in the process. Can someone tell me why this is and if there will be a replacement.

This is the worst app l have ever used. Come on VW you can do much better than this. !!!

Bought a data plug (only £10 but that’s not the point) set up exactly as instructions, worked for a couple of days. Now it just won’t connect to Bluetooth, nothing wrong with phone or plug, reset everything to baseline and reinstalled. Lasted a couple of days and then refused to connect even though iPhone shows device as connected! Very frustrating piece of junk that’s going in the bin. Every other OBD that plugs in works without issue, but not a single VW data plug works more than a few days. Garbage.
