In the end capitalism ate this app and reduced it down to garbage. I’m sad they took off everything the app stood for it was free and moving to visit collection and collection of inspirational moving pieces you got to understand a persons inner world through collections. I had this app and used it through HS and college to create vision boards and such. Such a shame. I guess something dies only for another to start up the idea again someplace else. Sad for PicsArt too it was free and gave people a means to cultivate their own. Creativity is worth more than the modern man’s dollar.
Bring back the old app, cowards! :(
I’ve had the same account for years, I’m talking from my early teenage years into adulthood. I have kept a lot of my photos on this app and every since this update, everything’s been awful. it’s logged me out and will not let me sign back in, it keeps giving me a new account and consistently asks for my photo access but it’s rather frustrating and annoying at this point and the customer support isn’t any better. If I can get back into my account no issue this app is 3/5 because the consistent push for the subscription is old now.
I log on and my account is gone and ALL of my pictures! This app used to be my absolute favorite. It started going downhill after the ads and only being able to download so many pictures a day. I never understand why App have to change, especially when no one wants it?
i really want to like this app, it’s so close to what i’m looking for. but i think it’s missing some things. i have an iphone 14 pro for reference. - the ability to delete a photo or edit a photo that’s already uploaded - adding a name or a bio to our home screen - the ability to change the order of photos - the ability to change view to see row of 2 or 3 or 4 (smaller pictures) idk those are some thoughts! thanks for listening
Zero stars. I have had an account with ‘Weheartit’ for over a decade. I started using this app when it was just a website, on a laptop. Then I had it on my iPod, and now the last few years on my iPhone. I used to love this app so much. I enjoyed finding inspiration and ‘hearting’ the pictures, I uploaded my own pictures, and I had a lot of followers over the span of 10+ years. I stopped getting on this app as much as I used to about a year ago, and then I click on it today and it won’t even give me an option to log in. I have no idea where any of the thousands of pictures I’ve hearted have went. I loathe this app now. I will most likely be deleting it unless the app goes back to how it used to be. There was never anything wrong with it- why mess it up?
i went from having thousands of archived pictures here to nothing... how did this go from moodboards to podcasts to now an editing app?
I’m very saddened by what happened to the app. The community, following and hearts I have gained over the years, all gone. Just to make it into another cheap photo editor app.
