For months is the app not working on iOS since the certificate for server is not valid and device is not uploading local weather station data

Good weather station but the iPad app is not on then same premium level in terms of usability. Desperately waiting for a landscape mode.

Immer muss ich diese App wieder auf machen wegen die Diagramme die sich nicht zeigen. Was anderes ist die 24 Stunde zeigt er nicht an. Schade. Immer wenn die Batterien austauschen geht die Temperatur anzeigen nicht, auch wenn nur der Barometer anzeigt. Ich habe die Sterne von 4 nach 2 zurück gestuft. Und jetzt ist es nach 1 Sterne gestuft. Immer wieder keine Ergebnisse von diesem Gerät. Is im Schubladen gelandet. Traurig!!!!!

... is a absolute no go on an ipad. My ipad-holder in my truck allows only landscape mode. Same at home. All ipad user are used to landscape mode. This is not a phone! Beside, This background animations are annoying. I will send the weatherstation back to amazon. To bad, the hardware is good.

PLEASE (!) make the animations optional - it makes reading the overview extremely difficult. Update: I am now using the ‚myPWS‘ app. Brilliant, and not overloaded with senseless animations.

Im Gegensatz zu WeatherLink 1.0 ist nun die App völlig mit unnötigen Grafiken und Animationen überladen und unübersichtlich. Der Wetterbericht ist für Deutschland nicht geeignet. Extrema werden nur von wenigen Werten angezeigt. The WeatherLink-App 2.0 is overcharged with needless animations. The weather forecast for Germany is wrong. Not all Highs/Lows of all measured datas are displayed.

I bought my Davis weather station in 2016, making it 8 years in service. I use Meteobridge flashed onto a router to upload to several weather services and the Weatherlink program on a computer to upload to Davis. I have had minimal issues with this setup. The app on IOS could use a facelift but has functioned fine.

A few of us in these reviews requested landscape mode but fell on deaf ears. But the Smartmixin app covers it so that’s good news! Update: WeatherLink App seems to be working now for Air Quality

Around the fall of 2023, this app lost its ability to handle live updates (whether a fault of iOS changes or Davis). Just last week an update was finally released fixing the issue nearly a full year later even after many chats with tech support being aware of the issue. This is a replacement for my prior 1-star review as they did finally fix it returning the app to usefulness.

I hope the Davis team monitors these reviews. Since the last update a few days ago, my app will not sync with my Davis weather unit. Nervous about this since the update before this one was over 8 months ago… really hoping it doesn’t take that long to fix this issue…
