Does what it says, but...
The app does what it says and allows you to change the agent. But, the purpose of changing the agent on....say, an iphone....is to not be limited to the “baby internet”. With web Captain, you change the agent but it locks you in “portrait mode”. IOW; the screen won’t rotate so even though you now have the “full” internet, you’re stuck with choosing to either stare a tiny letters or expanding the screen to where you can’t see the whole web page without scrolling left. All your saved passwords are not accessible in Web Captain either, you need to re-enter them. I didn’t expect this app to be a complete “stand alone” browser option, but rather an app that allowed me to change the agent on my existing browsers. I guess I should have paid closer attention to what I was buying. So, it works as it should. I just didn’t expect to be (essentially) be adding another browser to my iphone.
