The app warned me to not make a secondary manual payment because autopay was on. It says it takes up to 3 days to process so I thought nothing of it until I check two days later and it’s overdue. Thanks for any first late payment.

Some people can’t pay on the day due - 1 day late they throw you to collections with many calls per day until paid -

I’ve tried multiple times to uninstall, reinstall, turn off my VPN, and nothing works! Sometimes I can’t even get past the login but when I do it asks me to verify my account. Each time I verify, the app freezes! This is truly garbage and when trying to contact Westlake their number doesn’t even offer an option to talk to a real person. NEVER using Westlake Financial again!!!

I have paid on time every month for a year. If you do not submit your payment on the exact day you will be harassed until you make a payment. Even if you call and say you will make a payment a few days late they will barrage you with multiple calls until the payment is made. I would not suggest west lake financial to my worst enemy.

Only car loaner place I know in the whole world!!! Where you got to pay to make your own car payments ridiculous!!

Here’s why I gave the app 1 star. Aside from it being slow, it’s missing important information. The app only gives you the total balance of after your last payment, not your current balance. Depending on your interest rate, that could be hundreds of dollars that’s accumulated that you don’t see in your total. The other problem is every payment you make gets interest taken out. Unless you know you’re supposed to call Westlake after making an extra payment to tell them it’s a principle only payment, and wait several days for it to be updated. You could be losing hundreds or thousands of dollars. A lot of lenders have a button you can click when making a principal payment. I have a feeling Westlake doesn’t have that option in the app because they make millions with all the people that don’t know you have to call them after the payment posts.

My autopay never goes through

I paid my bill through the app and it said thank you for your payment days later i get a notification saying im late and i owe more money thats garbage and not my fault and dont try to call these folks they only use a ai terrible
