It’s an extremely expensive game if you choose to pay. They charge you $60 dollars to play a game with 6 shots. That’s $10 dollars a shot for nothing. It’s less expensive to play in real life… If you don’t pay, (which you shouldn’t) you can’t get any new clubs. I’m a pro, and I’ve played with the same clubs since the beginning. It’s a slow process. You’ll never win any tournament or come close to a good position, since you can’t shoot far enough. I don’t pay, because it’s too expensive. Back in the days I paid $25 for complete Tiger Woods PC game and everything was included. One time payment. The makers of these apps becomes millionaires on addictive and manipulative games like these, and over charge and exploit people’s addiction. Really bad. Even though sometimes the exact same shot with same club under exact conditions may differ by 10-20%. But what I dislike the most is that it’s impossible to have a fair game against others without spending big money on equipment. Or if you buy balls and don’t loose a single one, you still run out. After a break from this game - which I has spent years playing and developing clubs and skills - I came back and started to get back into it. So far, so good. Then I made the huge mistake of trialling a set of irons. As mine were no longer on sale in their shop - they cost around $65 to purchase new - when then rental period ended I lost my irons because I didn’t replace them in my bag. Silly me thought the game would just revert to how it had been before I rented the clubs. Nope. They took them away. I emailed CS and asked why I wasn’t informed that this could happen as I OBVIOUSLY wouldn’t have done it on purpose. Not a word has come back. And now WGT can GTF. You just lost a paying customer for good. But after many updates and changes here and there it has become more and more overrun by Ai and so called VEM making the game more unpredictable and less realistic. The only thing you can still predict is that if your having a good day it will soon turn into a bad one. The solution….spend a little money! WGT constantly finds new ways to make the player experience about using more money whether it be better balls or more coins to compete in coin rounds. Ironically enough when your spending money you play better but when your not you quickly find yourself playing worse.
