This is far easier to use than the Metlink app - however it need to be updated with the current timetable

WGTN Trains shows the passenger train timetable data for Welllington, New Zealand. The application has a simple and easy-to-use interface that display train times at the touch of a button.
WGTN Trains includes timetable information for the following train lines:
- Johnsonville
- Hutt Valley
- Melling
- Kapiti
- Wairarapa
You can display train times for the current day, the following day and the weekend. WGTN Trains has an option to see the "Next three available Trains inc Train Fare" , in which not only does it display the next three available trains but also includes the single adult and child train fares, this option is useful for people who are on the go, once you have opened an train line, you can quickly switch between train lines by swiping left or right on the touch screen.
You can also select a specific date, to view train times for that day.
For even quicker access to train times, you can open up the favourites menu, and select your train line with your favourite saved option.
The train timetable data is bundled within the application. Internet access is not required and no annoying advertisements will be displayed.
The train timetable information has been obtained from the official train timetables published by Metlink, New Zealand. This app is the sole work of the developer, and is not affiliated with Metlink.

Kapiti Line timetable needs updating
This is the best easy to use app but sadly the timetable is not up to date. Could you please update with the correct timetable
Timetable out of date
This is a great ap but the timetable needs updating. Major changes from 15 July are not there.
Update Tinetables
Good app but when are you going to do the update for the new timetable than came into effect yesterday.
Fantastic App
I use this App quite often on the Hutt Valley line and have had no problems. I love the ability to add favourites. Thanks for making an App that's really useful.

Generally reliable and is a great app which I use a lot! At present, there seems to be a error on the Kapiti line with the times of arrival for trains from Paremata to Pukerua Bay. It states that it takes 41 minutes!!
Wellington trains
This used to be the most fantastic ap and deserved 5 stars plus. It's now got a bug and sadly updates don't fix it.
Simple to use
This app is simple to use and does what it says it will do. It needs updating though - the Kapiti line information has been wrong for a few months now.
Train timetable app
Thought I would invest my $2 for this app like to support local talent The author must keep it relevant please. Timetables ?, I note Saturday has an error in it for the Kapiti to Wlg line compared to the metlink timetable. Clean lines looks good just keep it up todaye please Well done !
very handy reference
Uncluttered and simple to use app, does rely on trains to be on time, as no live data. Text just a bit small for my eyes when in a hurry. Would be great to add the Capital Connection too. Great as I’m an irregular commuter, Thanks
