Where Shadows Slumber

Great little indie game - had me hooked from the start and great sense of menace and progression

I loved the puzzles in this unique game. Very clever the way the shadows thrown change things in each level in order to find your way through each scene. However, I really hated the violence in the cut scenes. It adds nothing to the story and seems completely unnecessary, so it’s not a game I shall play again. Unfortunately I have decided to delete the game without completing it because of this.

A great little game with good logic puzzles but the ‘Cut Scenes’ are unnecessarily violent. Can’t find a way to reset everything without delete and reinstall.

I played it all one evening and every level has something new snd clever... loved it!

A unique twist on puzzle mechanics. The story really ads another dimension to the game not found in other puzzlers. Dark and other worldly.

A very good concept. I initially had problems with constant crashes and freezes which I now believe are improved! I can’t face playing the whole game again to find out but I did eventually finish it. It has a feel of Monument valley about it but with an undercurrent of nasty malice and quite horrible violence. All the more shocking since the characters are only 2D drawn cartoons - so not a pleasant dreamlike experience like Monument valley. Some satisfying and different style puzzles did make it compulsive playing though.

Great game, very similar style to Monument / Monument Valley, although the cut scenes are violent rather than heartwarming. Had some trouble restarting and starting levels - the screen stays black but I can hear that the level has loaded. Restarting the game fixes that easily. The last (?) puzzle has me stumped. I’ve got one cube in place, but the other three have disappeared. Not sure if this is a bug or part of the puzzle... Overall, really enjoyable and just challenging enough not to be frustrating but not easy either.

Difficult to review the game since it keeps crashing after level 1. Not impressed

Beautiful designed, a surprisingly dark storyline and very clever puzzles. If you liked Monument Valley - you will absolutely love this. Best iOS game I’ve played in ages.
