Schlafgeräusche: Regen, Natur

Gute Idee, einfaches Design aber nicht gut umgesetzt. Selbst in dem Preview Video im Appstore ruckelt alles 😄 Heruntergeladen habe ich es für die Apple Watch und da ist immer alles auf voller Lautstärke, selbst wenn man es runter regelt. Deswegen für mich nicht zu gebrauchen.

Gestern gab es plötzlich ein Update welches nicht nur das Interface überarbeitete, sondern auch einige Geräusche hinzufügte, andere entfernte und generell die Sortierung änderte, so dass meine gespeicherten Profile alle plötzlich dahin sind. Auch der Audio Mixer lässt sich nicht mehr so filigran einstellen, wie davor. Schade, war eine wirklich tolle App, aber so verabschiede ich mich nun.

I got this app a while ago and really like it in a lot of ways. The sound quality is pretty good, and the interface is nice and simple, but there are a few things I really don’t like. * Ads. It doesn’t matter too much because I don’t spend time looking at the app, but given the option, I’d much rather pay a couple of dollars as a one-time purchase to get rid of the ads. * Sound pauses whenever other sound is played. I wish there were an option to override that. Sometimes I play the white noise on my iPad while browsing, and if I accidentally start playing a video, the white noise stops, and I have to reopen the app and start it playing again. That problem is made worse by the fact that… * It gets stuck on pause/stop. If the sound is stopped, it’s common to get into a state where it won’t start again. It doesn’t matter if it’s paused by me pressing the pause button or by another sound playing, it won’t start playing again until I completely close the app out. * It only supports portrait mode. Like I said, I have it on my iPad, and when I open the app, it’s always stuck in portrait mode. It won’t rotate the display if I’m using the iPad in landscape mode. This didn’t used to be the case, but the screen rotation seems to have been broken in a recent update. I have an iPad Pro M2 running the latest iPadOS.

Used BetterSleep for years until they recently opted to price themselves out of my market. This app does exactly what I was looking for and does it simplistically well. Highly recommend it.

Another recent reviewer also made a similar observation. It's only occupying memory space.

love this app, only white noise app i’ve that doesn’t have a subscription or advertising, only wish they had more sounds but it’s free so i can’t complain too much, thank you white noise, i love y’all

The timer option doesn’t work 99% of the time. Plays all night long not just the 30 minutes it is set for. Tried all different ways and still wants to play all night. Did help with going to sleep but wakes me up in the middle of the night because it’s still playing.

This app is pretty good except every 3-4 days it gets a little wonky. It will not play for the time you set for it, but it’ll play through the entire night. Then I have to d/c the app, wait a day then open it again. If they could fit that, they’d get a 5. 🙂

Times just what I needed sounds great

Not sure what the point of shipping an Apple Watch version of this app is. You start playing a soundtrack, and it immediately stops when you put your wrist down. Doesn’t play in the background over connected headphones as one would expect.
