I Just Cannot
I really hate that a new trend in video games is one where every effort is made to punish the player for not remaining consistently locked in to the game. The time limit on the decisions are very short, and some decisions result in a response that indicates that the writers were too lazy to craft the story around the decision and just left it at "sorry, try again".
Honestly, I like it but…
This game is GREAT. It hooked me in the first part. Until I got the notification that I had to pay. Honestly, I don’t want to pay money to continue the game. The devs could make a game pass where you can heal Uncle Marcus a little bit. You don’t have to make it so to continue you need to buy money, I mean it’s quite unfair for the people who need to ask their parents to buy stuff.
High potential - but a let down
Love the acting. High quality script. But such a waste that this is all just random guess the correct sequence to move forward, and not at all based on reason or skill. Super disappointed because this could have been amazing.
A Well-Acted Waste of Time
The concept of this game is great. I really enjoyed the acting and characters. But the gameplay boils down to going down every dialogue option and over and over again until all the clues are found. It’s not a real mystery to solve. What a shame.
Pay to play
It doesn’t tell you until after the first round of the game that you have to buy it to play the whole thing. Why not just make the game originally pay to play in the first place? It’s just annoying- gets you invested before telling you it’s $5 to play, instead of making you pay up front.
BEST GAME EVER
The only reason it’s not 5 is because if your gonna make us buy the game just make it so we have to pay to play the game
I did it

If your a whodunnit and/or Agatha Christie lover, you’ll love WPMOUM
Who Pressed Mute On Uncle Marcus or WPMOUM, if a choose your own adventure murder mystery made during pandemic. You play as Abby as she tries to figure out which one of her fellow family members poisoned her favorite uncle. The true ending is impressive, although I’m kinda bummed their was no post credits scene, that would’ve completed my day. After either choosing the right antidote and Marcus lives or choosing the wrong one and Marcus dies, you’ll have to use the evidence you gathered by your choices to find who’s innocent or guilty. My favorite character is Nan, who is very sweet and reminds me of my grandmother. So…Who Pressed Mute On Uncle Marcus? Was it Mum? Aunty June? Brandley? Toby? Lottie? Or is Marcus faking it?
Immersive and fun whodunnit!
First off, since others have commented about this I will just say that it should be pretty obvious this game is not free - it clearly displays “in app purchases,” and doesn’t charge outright because the developers are allowing you to trial the game by playing the first segment. This is not a free-to-play game model, and so of course they will need to charge money for the full game. Do you really think they can make great games like this absolutely free?
As for the game itself, this is a welcome addition to the “full-motion-video” genre (think similar to Her Story, At Dead Of Night, etc). While it’s a murder mystery, it’s also fun and a bit tongue in cheek at times (somewhat like Clue), and it has a fun and talented cast of eccentric characters where everyone has a motive. In this modern age of video-calls, it also works really well as a family digital “gathering” and feels very immersive.
I won’t say anything else about the story, but it’s a fun one, and the ending felt satisfying (and alternate endings were also entertaining). Expect to play it more than once, but the replay value is also high as you will uncover more secrets.
Overall a great game, and I hope we can expect more games like this in the future!
So long, and couldn't finish without buying
It took FOREVER to even start this game and you hit the button like twice and then you have to pay money to finish playing the game. I wasted literally a half hour on this. Can't get that part of my life back. Wouldn't recommend unless you plan on buying
