Love Willko as a shop - They have a wide range of products and always great offers but their app is hugely disappointing. Found it so hard to navigate through it as there are ads that pop up every 15 seconds and some of them can’t close right away. I ended up deleting the app on the same day and have just been using their website instead. Just to clarify the 1-star rating is for their poorly constructed app not for the brand.

Way to many ads for a well known shop.

I usually find apps easier to use than the websites. However, the irrelevant constant adverts have made me delete almost immediately after adding it. I’m moving home and wanted to check a couple of things quickly. I just don’t understand why a company that allows you to purchase goods through the app would need to sell advertising. Expected better from Wilko.

This app is full of adverts, for non-Wilko stuff - there isn’t even the option to go back once you click on something. In the five minutes I was on it I got three full page ads interrupting my search, plus one on the bottom. The website isn’t full of ads so I’ll use that instead. Thought the app would be easier, but no.

What’s with all the ads!!!

Exactly the same as the Dunelm app; it is unusable due to the adverts. A complete waste of time, don’t bother. What they think they’ll achieve is beyond me as I immediately deleted it and went back to the website. I think they’ve missed the point in that an app is meant to be easier to shop not harder!!

It is infuriating that the incessant, pop-up, full screen adverts make it harder to shop than using the website! Someone got greedy with the design of this, why would you go out of your way to annoy people who are trying to spend money in your store? Never encountered this on any shopping app before, only those providing free services. Very poor judgement.

Seemed to find everything on there I need, a good app if you need to check stock.
