This device lets lots of rain in. It also lets out water which made mold develop above it. It is hard to connect to WiFi if your router is changed.

This is the by far the best air purifier I have owned. Soooo aesthetically pleasing to the eye & it sets the tone for my entire space. One of THEE BEST investments this fiscal year. One of my first major investments was my HUROM H400 juicer. I can tell you that my feelings towards my juicer is the same feelings I have towards this air purifier– IN LOVE. Thank you so much.

I love my windmill AC and I think it’s a great addition to anyone who wants to integrate into the smart home market. I don’t love the app. Overall the app does its job as being a remote for the windmill AC. But, there are sync issues such as the app not running automations properly and cancelling them but still sending notifications that the automations have run. Additionally, the entire automation list can get messy very quickly, especially since there is no way to separate automations and scenes into their own lists. I also believe that apps that don’t have dark mode in 2024 don’t have that feature out of spite. I shouldn’t have to open the app and be prepared to be blinded by a pure white screen. App does the basics as it should. The rest, not so well.

Absolute trash units. The all does not connect to the a/c more than half of the time, it says the unit is on but it isn't. Not worth the trouble.

EDIT: hitting the RESET button on the unit (by the power outlet) seems to have fixed at least the app reading the inaccurate room temperature!! Posting this at the top so hopefully others see it first. But now it’s completely different. (I mostly use the app to turn things off and on, or change temps, I don’t do any automations.) The app always says the room temp is 73, and I can tell you it’s definitely not. It’s said that for a couple weeks and doesn’t change. The unit itself takes awhile to cool down the room, and sometimes runs for a long time (over an hour). Sometimes I eventually set the temperature higher just so it’ll turn off. Moving the temperature sensor definitely helped, but that shouldn’t need to be done. I’ve found that I run the unit even when I’m not home, so it doesn’t have to work as hard when I come home from work. Again, everything was fine last year. I genuinely don’t know what happened, but in reading other’s reviews, it sounds like I’m not the only one experiencing stuff like this. It sounds like deleting/reinstalling the app won’t fix anything, which is disappointing. The only reason I’m giving this app two stars is because of the excellent customer service. They’ve helped me fix the temperature sensor and sent me photos of how to move it, as well as other issues. They’re responsive and kind.

I love being able to control my unit through the app whether I am home or not. I also appreciate being able to see power consumption, which encourages me to be a little more efficient with my usage and save some $. I had one bug where my unit duplicated itself in the app and would no longer accept control commands from the app, but deleting it and starting fresh solved that and I haven’t experienced the issue again.

My unit is “online” and “connected,” but the app no longer tracks the current room temp or shows if the unit is currently on. Based on reviews, the app no longer works for many. Developers, this was a major selling point of your overpriced AC. Let's get it fixed.

Every time I try to set the temperature, it goes back up a degree or two. I have to change the temperature slowly, watching it to ensure it stays at the temperature I am trying to set it at. It wastes a lot of my time.

I didn’t have an issue not being able to control the airflow direction until I needed to put the unit in a corner, recessed window. Now I have a very cold wall and window frame, and an insane electric bill. The app is worthless. It doesn’t relay accurate room temperature- stuck for two summers on 80, regardless of resets/reinstalls. So, I can’t monitor and control remotely. May as well have a cheaper non-WiFi unit if I just have to leave it on at all times anyway (for pets). Or should have bought a wifi unit from a more established company with R&D investment to make it work.

The remote works great I like how you can see your filter running time so I know when to replace it.
