Most functions don’t work well
Doesn’t scan more than one wine in 5. Search is missing lots of wines that I’ve bought recently in Vintages in LCBO. Not really sure what the point is if it can’t do these basics.

perte de temps , seulement 1 bouteille sur 5 scan , tout mes produits sont de la SAQ , l’app comporte des glitchs , l’app se referme continuellement. par contre l’interface est bien fait par rapport à d’autres apps …
First things first: Natalie is a phenomenal taster. I’ve never bought a high rated bottle that didn’t deserve the accolade. It is true, though, that you have to pay an annual subscription of about $30 to get much out of it. More annoying is the heavy Ontario-centric basis of the app. Most of the top rosés are from Niagara, but BCL doesn’t sell ANYTHING from Ontario. The prices, too, are from LCBO (ie cheaper than BC) even though the BCL prices are online and the app knows where I am. Okanagan wines are under-represented, presumably because Natalie doesn’t encounter them in Ontario. EDIT: I don’t know if the search function has been improved or I just missed it before, but you can search by varietal, country, etc. The label scanner is rubbish, as others have said, so that option seldom works. Using Top 10 plus the search function gets you where you need to go most of the time though.
Very buggy app. Camera scan great for the first scan, then doesn’t work after the first scan. It often get the wine wrong.
She clearly is an expert in her field. But the app hasn’t been upgraded in years. adverts of “best wine app” must be really outdated... I lost all my saved info. And you can’t set your location (so prices and shopping suggestions are pointless). Website looks like it has potential, but I want an app.
Great app. When paired with subscription to monthly wine reviews (Cheap!) this is fantastic for purchasing good wines at prices at local liquor store. Love the shopping cart feature. I can show the bottle or LCBO # to store employees to find my wines quickly.
As much as I’d like to love this app, it crashes every time I try to update a wine I’ve scanned.
If you want the score of a wine it says you need to register to become part of the community it’s free..... so you join only to find out it’s not free, free trial but then pay. Not sure how they got around apples policy as it does not say in app purchases in the store.
The price is burning into my wine fund. However neat idea. Didn’t have the year of the wine I needed! Not for me.
The app has worked very well for me. Having LCBO wines and their stock levels at nearby stores is great!
