Wisdo: Mental Health & Support

Dream app for anyone, struggling with mental conditions anyone struggling with depression, anxiety. It’s an amazing place for comfort and to feel safe and to express your true feelings. It’s epic place to be yourself and to have for therapy and the privacy of your home under your control or no one Hass to judge you or force you to do anything.

I downloaded this app to find support from a community. The person who was supposed to be my guide is a bot. When I tried speaking to them over message all of their responses was automated. This honestly was really heartbreaking as someone who doesn't have access to therapy or mental health services. Do better, Wisdo.

This app was recommended to me to make friends when I was in a hard time back in 2019. I met my current girlfriend & love of my life on this app after being best friends for years developed into more.. I owe it to this app and meeting her by the very chance of us both downloading it by a recommendation. Thanks! Definitely give it a go, 5 stars from me 😎

THEY CAN READ ALL YOUR MESSAGES

Read all their 1-Star review replies. “We charge so we don’t have to sell your data, and annoy users with in-app ads, etc.” YET they work with payors, providers, and other healthcare whales to harness “users data in perpetuity…” (read their TOS). Just like any social network…they’re in it for the money and you are IT!

It won’t let me get past the “my journey” part. I click on what I’ve been through or am going through and I am unable to proceed to the next step because it keeps saying “something went wrong”. I’ve had this problem before which resulted in me having to delete the app because I couldn’t use it. Several years ago, before they added the subscription, I thought the app was great. I ended up being kicked out of it though, because I wasn’t 17 at the time, which is the minimum age required to use the app. After I turned 17 I downloaded the app again, realized the app was trash and deleted it because of how bad it was. People always feel like they have to add a price to things now, and they end up ruining their product. The app was better at first. I wouldn’t waste your time, effort, or money on this app if I were you!!!

Wow…sad. I dl’d this app and then went back to read recent reviews (the default selection for reviews is “most helpful reviews” which is misleading) and they were by far so discouraging with all the comments about money demands that I immediately deleted the app without even bothering to explore it. Hey Developers…do better.

As I moved to a new city in a different country, I found the communities of Wisdo to be the help I needed. It’s a great feeling knowing you’re not alone. This was one of the better experiences I have had with social networks. No trolling, no mean comments, just people trying to support each other.
