Finally the app for me!

I absolutely LOVE Witchbook. A place where I’m truly free to share my stories and be myself. A place where I can connect with new magical friends.

I love this community!!!

I’ve seen some content locked behind a paywall but not a full subscription requirement before. Maybe only put some things behind a paywall. How am I supposed to know if this is a good fit for me if I can’t test it out first?

That idea is SO DUMB!! Just make it a -supported since tall bring it up on the splash screen!! There's an economic crisis rn, do you really think we got the extra money for your paywall?

Any app that goes straight to a pay prompt without letting you at least get a 7 day trial to see if it’s worth it to them seems incredibly sus. I’m sad, I hear such good things about this app, but I really don’t want to pay for something I have no idea if I’m going to enjoy/ use regularly or not.

I really wanted to try this app and next thing I know I create an account, and it says I can pay for an ad-free experience. I logged out and closed the app to try and get off the screen and nothing worked I couldn’t use the app without paying so I decided to not pay and just delete the app. If you offer an ad-free experience I feel there should be the option to use the app with adds. I’ve seen other reviews saying this from a year ago and there has been no response or change to the app.

Paid for a year subscription a couple months ago and now I’m locked out until I pay for another month

I can understand a subscription don’t get me wrong, but at least offer like a 1-3 day trial so people can get a feel for it first. I’ve had several apps of this nature and haven’t liked all of them, so I don’t wanna waste the money if I can’t even get a taste of what there is to offer. I get it, it’s only 2 bucks but it’s the principle of it. From previous reviews people have made comments like it’s dull, or lackluster. If I have a mandatory sub, it should offer something other free social with platforms don’t. I may be back with an ad option or a free sub to see for myself, but deleted it so fast.

This is the best app ever even better than Facebook. I am finding all kinds of things already and learning so much more. I am also meeting the nicest people ever who are true and real. I am so very happy and really enjoy it. I highly recommend this app to any witches that are looking to connect and share information with real people.
