Woodhall’s eButterflies RSA

I don’t know the Southern African butterflies and this app has really helped me. With the smart search option and geographical map I have been able to at least come close to identifying a number of difficult butterflies such as ciliate blues. Keep on maintaining this app and if possible expand it to neighboring countries!

Not new to seeing and enjoying butterflies but first efforts at identifying those we see. Easy and clear app to navigate! Started our first butterfly list … Thank you!

What a fabulous addition to butterfly identification and distribution. Stunning photos and text and love the option to compare similar species. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

Would have given this five stars because like the book quality of photos and info fantastic. However, the searches need tweaking and improving. E.g. while having KZN region selected and couldn’t get a smoky orange tip to come up in the search. A few more issues like this fixed would make this great.

So nice to now have all the images and text in my pocket. Well done, Steve Woodhall!
