To see Woody’s legacy continued into this new era of communication technology is a blessing. There is plenty material here to keep us all busy and to learn a new thing or two about his genius.

I love the genius of Woody Shaw. One of my favorites is Theme for Maxine. I love the app! I’d like something like this for my aunt Mary Lou Williams!

Nicely organized by years and types, with New Release of Unreleased music! Search function allows for quickly finding any song one wishes to check out and to listen to to the heart’s content! I’m very happy with the apps! It’s a wonderful app for both WOODY SHAW fans and new listeners alike who likes to dwell in to the musical genius of a legend in Jazz!

This app is very important for the simple fact that it gives you access to the music and other important facets of the great Woody Shaw. I am one of those extremely fortunate souls to have heard Woody in live performance. That was 1979 and I have not heard even one trumpeter to equal Woody since then. This app is the next best thing to hearing Woody in live performance. I highly recommend it!

I don’t know of any other place that gives access to this many Woody Shaw live recordings! There are different subscription prices that all give the same amount of access to the app’s features.
