Fun game but ads are an issue

This is another example of greedy developers. Initially ads are sporadic to get you playing the game. After a while they begin displaying ads after every guess (right or wrong). They use the fake-click method to generate additional revenue from ads when trying to close them which ultimately lengthens the amount of time an ad is displayed. This forces you to consider paying to remove ads. Stick to the New York Times.

Too many ads to enjoy, thought about even paying to remove, but this was just to play ad free for 30 days! Ridiculous!

An offensive amount of ads

I don’t usually write reviews, but how this game has so many positive reviews when I can’t even finish a word without 5 ads popping up is insane. A small charge for no ads would be reasonable, but £6 for 30 days with no ads is beyond extortionate

Too many ads

This used to be the best wordle app but a recent update that increased the number of ads has made it unplayable and at £7.99 per month it’s too steep to remove them. Xbox gold is cheaper!

You’re forced to pay due to an ad coming up every 10 seconds and that’s not even exaggerating but otherwise really fun…

Too many Adverts

Been a player for years, put up with the Ads, but since new year they are ridiculous and make the game impossible to enjoy. Regretfully, have deleted the App. The reality is that although this is an enjoyable App that helps to keep your mind active for all the right reasons, it’s just not comprehensive enough to be something that you would pay for. Best of luck to the developers in their endeavours to get this right in the future.

Way to many ads

Changes have spoilt the App

We was rally enjoying the free game, both 5 and 6 letter game, didn’t mind the adds for extended play but from yesterday they changed it from at the end of the game to every guess which breaks the game up and spoils it completely. Good but not worth the subscription, plenty of similar games to choose from.

Endless adverts

Used Wordle for nearly 2 years - loved it. Now latest version gives 30 second+ advert at the end of each line! So that could be 6 per word!!! Sorry but not enjoyable any more. Have deleted app and won’t be back.
